thanks so much for posting. I was at this game. 9 years old. I still remember that interception at the end and how the place erupted and went crazy. we were sitting behind that endzone but opposite side. great memory.

I was there as well, at 13 years old! My first time at Texas Stadium. We had at great view at Holt's interception. We were seated at around the 30 yard line. Good memory.

I remember watching this at my Uncles house as he hosted our annual family picnic and watching this upset over the defending champs was huge for us. You could feel somethin was truly brewing with this team after this win!

Hated seeing everson walls in A giants uniform.But that’s ok he is a Dallas Cowboy forever he did get a ring with them though

See, this is great because it shows the defending champion Giants vs. the future champion Cowboys learning how to win having that title-contending ability....Washington was just on a higher level this season, more focus but Dallas matched up well....I do wonder if the Lions didn't beat Dallas would the Cowboys have defeated Washington?

As a longtime cowboys fan I prefer to live in the past . I’ll watch these old games thanks to KZfaq … forget about the Jerry Jones cupcake managed teams … not my cup of tea and tired of trying to drink it …

If you are a Cowboys fan don't watch! Yes, the Cowboys win but they are absolutely awful for the 2nd, 3rd and most of the 4th quarter on both sides of the ball. Jeff Hostetler absolutely carved the Dallas D up all day.

What an odd post. Sure, Hostetler played very well. But the Cowboys played well against the defending Super Bowl champs. And they won in dramatic fashion.

@@kirbygene Uh, no there's nothing odd about honesty. Dallas played very poorly except in the first quarter and the last few minutes of the game. Dramatic fashion? No thanks. Cardiac Kids teams don't win championships, instead they always fall short.
