Al Woods is a situational DT player also so he should stay fresh through out the game...He has really good skills: reads the offensive line zone blocking and cuts in between it, great swim move, clubbing offensive lineman, gets behind the line of scrimmage, and stays in good form through out the time he gets ahold of OL men. Really like this pick up after watching his high light reel...

Cobb is amazing. He won't demand a ton of catches, he'll help coach up the young kids...Mecole specifically, he'll get him to notice the non verbal queues. Cobb is great when you have like 3rd and 7 or 8, he's great at finding holes to be open.

@@santiagoramirez1477 I can never tell what a locker room leader means, but Cobb has done that a lot over the last year for the Packers. Packers have a very young WR room, similar to Jets, probably even younger. And this has been called out by the HC and WRs themselves. So he may not be very productive on the field, but will help mentor Wilson and others.

Quinnen resigning, Kwon resigning and safety depth. Douglas has whittled down the needs to these, great job. Would have loved to see Ben Jones and have a more reliable option at LT, but Douglas is doing his thing.

I like the woods signing for the veteran presence but should move JFM back to DT where he thrived and jj and Clemons opposite of Lawson until one could take over that side if Lazard does anything good I’ll be impressed wilson hardman are the key wrs

So not from a talent aspect but from a knowledge perspective jets WR room just became stacked with two packers who played with AR and know his cadence and his verbal cues is amazing will help “ new” wr learn so much faster

I’m a life long Jets fan, but I prefer a team that is built into a championship team, like we were doing. I understand how things are so different than they used to be, when most players stayed on their team for life, but I feel like we ar buying a team to win, and are becoming the New York Packers. I have always thought AR to be the goat, but we need O lineman more than anything else. Cobb is unnecessary.

Some people want OBJ or DHop, both 31 years old, have missed more games than Cobb, have lower reception %, and cost $15m more per year haha Not the same type of player but it is funny how people view Cobb

@Jets Talk 24/7 , I look at it and say he went to Buffalo. It's another WR, but nothing a decent CB couldn't cover. The only thing he might do is force Mims off the team. Have to figure. Hardman, Lizard, Wilson, Davis are the best 4 WRs. Then the fifth is either Cobb, Mims, or one of the undrafted players. They will all battle for the 5th WR spot. If Cobb gets 5th WR, then it's Mims vs. an undrafted player. Woods was desperately needed, so I get it. Just 38 years old at 330 pounds is a concern. I like the signing it could be huge for us if he has gas left.

Cobb is washed. Not a good investment. Woods is a good depth signing.

Cobbs is here to mentor young players on the scheme Hackett is bringing in...Cobbs will be great in 3rd down to move the chains...Cobbs isn't here to put up 1000 plus yards. He is here for situation football and his time spent playing with Rodgers...Your comment really doesn't make any sense because the faster our younger player learn and understand the system the better..Cobbs is a great signing if you know the REASON why he was signed...It's not because Aaron Rodger wanted him it's to hit the ground running with Wrs who know the system in their sleep...SMH!
