This is a case about the ability of the federal government to invoke prior restraint on the publication of documents (in this case, the Pentagon Papers) that potentially threaten national security. In other words, how far does the first amendment's protection of a free press go?

This may be a stupid question but how come at 2:02 you refer to prior restraint as a restraining order? Are the two terms interchangeable? Also, I love your videos 💕

This may b a stupid answer but I think it's a joke? Like a fun way to view prior restraint i.e. "haha prior restraint sounds like restraining order and since something *was* being restrained it makes sense"
