Exactly! I don’t like the idea of a travel palette because I just never travel that much. I’ve never travelled that much! I use quads and quints a daily, curated choice. I never use the travel palette excuse!

😊Beautiful quads! For the dryer shimmers the primer shade in the Cle de Peau quads is a great primer to put under! I use my Clio Prism Highlighter duo instead as it truly is identical to the Cle de Peau formula but since you don't own that. However any other softer baked gelee highlighter might be worth a try too!! I own the lilas quad that I really like. So I was wondering which of the bigger palettes w purples and mauves might be for me🤔🤷 Sometimes the palettes are darker than they look in the pan, lack light shades and colours are moody but I would love a bigger version of the lilas! I just don't know which one is best for fair skin 😅I love satin shades too!

I can see the difference between the two. The cooler one looks more natural as it merges with your own coloring for a minimal makeup look. The warm one makes more of a statement and looks more deliberate. They’re both lovely on you. I think it just depends on what kind of look you’re going for.

Im obsessed with taupey grey shades lately my favorite is Smokey Wood in Dior Smokey Essentials that whole row is gorgeous… I just ordered the 658 metallic beige Mitzah single I hope it’s as gorgeous as I think lol

I love the Viseart quads! I just grab one and set it out for the week. They are so beautifully composed. I am surprised how close they are though. I might get them later. The next Viseart sale probably. I am glad there is a new formula on the lip shines but I really didn’t like the old component. It didn’t look quite right. Lexi, love the Viseart quads. I love their shadows. They do look similar but I see the slight difference. I can see that Isolde is warmer. And the new YSL lipsticks look nice & shiny but not as pigmented as the older version. I’ve been buying way too many lippies so I’ll probably pass on these. Thank you for reviewing & swatches!! 😊🌺

I am so happy you reviewed these! I will have to pick up a couple more. Do you know these lip oils have the same fruity/floral fragrance as the YSL lip glosses from around 2006. It was/is my favorite fragrance in a lip product of all time. I wish companies would disclose the fragrance they use in lip products in their product description because I cannot stand mint in lip products. My next least favorite are the unscented ones. I want the whole sensory experience. I also love the Dries Van Noten lip stick/balm scent (orange blossom ish). Thanks again! Your reviews are the best!

I am not sure. I don't recall exactly what the fragrance was then in comparison to this one. It's probably similar but not the same though. DVN lipsticks are some of my favorites!

@@LexiJong I actually saved one backup gloss from then. I didn't use it because it was too old for my comfort. When I bought the YSL Lip glaze I pulled it out (then threw it away) and it was close. .

This is the first Viseart release and sale in the last few years where I was not tempted at all. Really surprised how these two look so similar. Plus I have other petit fours if I wanted this look, but I am not much of a peach/brown girl. Very helpful. I stocked up on the old version YSL when they were half off. I prefer the gold packaging so I'm out of luck on both counts but thanks for the review 💮

I really like the YSL Loveshine product! I like it so much better than the YSL Candy Glaze ! Do you have a preference? I also picked up 203 and 205, and I really like the color payoff and the feel of them. I may pick up some more during the Sephora sale. Great review as always!!!!!!

There are still a few retailers that have some stock of the old YSL but not too many shades left... Neiman Marcus and Dillards have some in the US.

I had no idea you were wearing a different palette on each eye until you said so. These palettes are very close. And I have the larger ones you compared. So nothing That new, although lovely on you. How do these YSL lips compare to Suqqu Moisture Glaze? Thanks for the video.💚

The Suqqu have more body to the formula, less oily of a texture. They also feel more hydrating and last longer on the lips. They are more pigmented in general.

I don't really see it on the skin personally. I can see a bit of blue when I look at it in the pan and the light hits a certain way.

Hi Lexi. I prefer the original gold case, of the YSL Rouge Volupté Shine oil in stick. I notice that the new ones.. the formula is not the same, they don't last the same way as the original, and they don't smell the same. Plus they dry my lips. Which that never happen with the original formula.

That's so interesting because for me these are less drying on my lips but we all have different skin chemistry. I'm sorry these new ones are a bust for you! If you can try the SUQQU moisture glaze, they might work well for you.

Is there a lot of fallout with the Isolde palette? The colors are pretty but I steer clear of ones that leave sparkle all over my face. The YSL palette is beautiful but I won’t use it because of the fallout.

I saw other reviews that the new YSLs don't last as long and are more drying on the lips. Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes i can confirm that. They don't last as long as the original, and they dry the lips!!

I'd say 2-3 hours wear max. For me they aren't as drying as the older version but I bet one of the new ingredients is causing them to be more drying for some people. I don't see anything triggering in the ingredients list (on Sephora if you are looking for it) but that is my guess.

I heard that Viseart eyeshadows are now made in China. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm still a little confused because I thought the Esum creator created the Viseart palettes. Is he no longer involved with Viseart?

None of my Viseart shadows are made in China. These newest ones are made in the USA. I don't know much about the actual creation of the brand but from my understanding, there was a partnership between the brands as ESUM was more focused on education for makeup artistry and they have only recently created their own cosmetics. Anastasia Sparrow is the creator of Viseart and I believe originally her ex-husband or partner was involved but that is not anyone at ESUM.

I just got all 3 of these Viseart pallets on the 30% off sale… Yay!!! Looks like I got great picks!!! Haven’t received them yet so happy for the preview!!! I love the new Loveshines I got the peachy glow 202 love them so much better than the candy glazes they are the perfect balm consistency that doesn’t run out my lip lines lol looks like they will match perfect 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 im so glad they taste the same! The colors are way better!!!! I had 121/122 and they are orangy not nude at all loved the gold tho!

I hope you love them! I think it's so great that Viseart includes their newest products in their sales. It really is a nice touch! I'm glad you love the loveshines! I think they are a great product too. I liked the gold too and it made it easier to distinguish them in the drawer from some other products.

I've been taking time off but I had some videos set to go. I stayed offline pretty much all week (which is why I'm just now responding) but will still reduce my time online until they go back to school Tuesday.
