It's a very valid point. However, NZ Football ⚽️ will most likely remain in the OFC for the foreseeable future as the Confederation now has 1.5 slots for the 2026 World Cup and beyond. Some fans might see this as rather short sighted however by regularly qualifying for future World Cups it's money 💰 for the OFC and NZ Football plus their calendar 📅 is more open to play friendlies against higher-ranked nations in the AFC and CONCACAF as well as tough opponents in UEFA.

Vanuatu is playing without its three strikers, Jordi Tasip, Seule Soromon and Andre Batick as they are out for injury. Tenene, SpokeyJack are wingers but they still made it through Finals..

Well Soltero 🤔... I definitely got my semi-final prediction wrong in the Fiji 🇫🇯 vs. Vanuatu 🇻🇺 game 😂. Well done to Brian Kaltak and his team reaching the OFC Nations Cup Final. They certainly stepped up and took the game to Fiji with the home crowd behind them. Noone predicted Vanuatu going this far but they've proved many people wrong. Good luck to them vs. New Zealand 🇳🇿 in the final. The All Whites put Tahiti 🇵🇫 to the sword with a clinical 5-0 win.
