The population of the US is approximately 330 million. Approximately 1 in 3 of us are gun owners. Collectively we own more guns than there are people. Estimates say we have a trillion rounds of ammunition. Even if 10% of gun owners fought against an invading force that would be 10 million with a nearly limitless supply of arms and ammunition.

There are over 750,000 amateur radio operators in the U.S.A. This forms a huge communication network. Even if regular communications (landline telephones, cellular telephones, internet) went out, the "hams" could still co-ordinate defense operations.

Well the cities on the coast have gigantic populations and the central and southern cities have stockpiles of guns. There is more people in California and New York alone then the total for some countries entire populations. Cali has 40 Million people, in a single state. And the fact that anyone would think our population would bow to their new Russian/Chinese owners is laughable, we barely even listen to our own government here does anyone think Americans would become submissions like the Chinese and Russian populations? Antimony is used to harden the lead in bullets especially ones that don't have a copper jacket. Military small arms ammunition like the 5.56x45 mm M855 "green tip" is a hardened steel penetrator core surrounded by soft lead (pure lead) swaged into a copper jacket. Since it's a full jacketed round, antimony isn't needed to mix with the lead to harden it. There is a replacement for the M855 that is just copper with the hardened steel penetrator inside and dose away with lead completely, but I don't know if it has been fully adopted as the Lake City, Missouri plant still makes literally tons of M855 rounds every day. The biggest use for antimony is in electronics. Also, the lead mines that closed was due to overseas competition and not because they are out of lead ore, so they can be reopened and retooled in the event of conflict. Fun fact:. My grandmother worked at the Des Moines Ordnance Plant during WWII making .50 caliber machine gun ammunition.

I saw a similar video on another channel. Here is one thing to consider. The state where I live, Wisconsin, had over 600,000 registered hunters a couple of years ago. At the time, when all these people were carrying arms, they were the 7th or 8th largest army in the world. And that is just one state. Plus, these are trained hunters, not just some conscript. They practice their marksmanship and know how to take care of their weapons. An invasion of the United States would be horrific for the country/countries attempting it.

And the ditches along the interstates are maintained at a specific angle. If we are invaded, all our tanks eould need to do is line up in the ditches, tank facing the blacktop, and angle the barrel is at, at that point lands a shell one mile away. They do not have to calculate any angles. The grade of the ditches places the barrel properly while it's in the locked down riding postion. Even our ditches are dug/made for creating the best defense we possibly could.

I’m not gonna specify what my family has but if it comes down to it.......... we will be our own unit. We have survival skills, we have medical skills, we have fighting skills and we have MANY MORE skills that would keep us alive and make our enemies DEAD! They probably wouldn’t even know what hit them. America’s enemies need to realize that before they try attacking here. YOU ATTACK AMERICANS ON OUR LAND.......... YOU ARE NOT FIGHTING THE GOVERNMENT. The military has ROE (Rules of Engagement) that control and stop them from fighting dirty! Civilians don’t! Especially the armed civilians! The US actually has plenty of Antimony. It just doesn't have many mining operations dedicated to it. It's the same with some other critical metals, like Rare Earth Metals. The reason for not having domestic suppliers is simple economics, other countries can mine and process these things cheaper. The lack of secure supplies of critical resources is changing though. The US government has passed a couple of bills lately that give subsidies to a whole mess of industries to secure resources within the country: uranium, rare earths, lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite, artificial intelligence, 5G telecommunications technology, semiconductors, biotech, green energy and quantum computing. There's also been a lot of activity lately shoring up trade agreements with friendly countries. Ultimately, the US would like to decrease dependance on Russia and China for anything important. I wish I could tell you New Zealand would benefit from some of these changes but we're pretty good on sheep here in the US. 😉

I was raised on a farm yard with wild dogs we call coyotes that'd mess with our chickens and dwindle our number of hens so I was raised from a young age that a gun was used as a tool and was highly respected and revered, as kids we started out our training with BB guns/ a pellet gun/ bow & arrow/ slingshot, if we proved that we were responsible with those we were then trained and practiced a higher or stronger weapon, but again we were ALWAYS ALWAYS reminded, took safety classes to carry and use as a Very Last Resort, and if misused or where careless in any way, we got that "Privalege" taken away from us. Because we lived on a farm all or most of us had a pocket knife nearby to help cut twine off the hay bails, and such things we had to do with daily chores on a farm.

So happy to see that you are all okay. As for the video, one thing the narrator didn't touch on was that strange metal you said you never heard of, antinomy, he said the US has to rely on China and Russia for it, but actually we don't. The US has it's own antinomy mines in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada.

people often talk about china in reliance on lithium not knowing that most raw lithium comes from Australia then refined in China only for companies like Tesla to say they are reducing cobalt and rare earth metals while dominating the chinese new energy vehicle market, the US has serious potential despite it already being on already at top.

Add on top of that, the fact that many of us Americans believe in maintaining a year's supply of food storage in our homes so if we need it we have it. We treat our pantries like mini grocery stores and rotate the food buying fresh while it is in season and preserving it ourselves. Some buy whole cows, hogs and hunt for deer as well as fish to keep freezers full of meat. We are trained to do that from generations back.

They forgot to mention that most the highways, railways and rivers all run parallel to eachother so that if one is disabled troops and supplies can still move freely with one of the other two. And the highways can have the median dividers moved to block them if they need to or removed to use the road as landing strips for planes.

It’s really true. We are a very well armed civilian population. I’m a 51 year old lady in a wheelchair and even I carry a gun. It’s not for offense it’s for defense. If a threat of war broke out, you will see almost the entire civilian population buying guns. And mind you, some families have a gun room with maybe 20 or 30 rifles, shotguns and pistols ready to use. Rural families use weapons for hunting and defense against larger apex predators (grizzly bears, wolves). I grew up in Wyoming and learned responsible gun ownership. Please don’t be afraid when you visit us. We treasure our 2nd amendment right to bare arms….against any threat foreign and domestic. We aren’t gun nuts. We just already know the kinds of terroristic threats that exist in the world today. Much love from the corn belt ! Iowa ! Woo hoo !

After watching Google what on earth, I decided to look on Google maps too. Well somehow it lead me to California and I saw this patch of what seemed to be brown light brown dirt patch that was huge the size of a city. So I zoomed, zoomed, and more zooming until I could see what was there. It wasn't empty land. It was a military storage base. Hundreds of miles of bunkers, vehicles, helicopters, and tanks. The compound was soooo huge!!!! The bunkers were all underground you could tell where the ground lumped up and a door was at the end of each of these giant mounds. In Arizona they have an airport air force base fulllll of unused military planes, people think it's a graveyard but it not! They're all just waiting. The windows, cracks, ports, storage their all wrapped up to prevent damage, dirt, rot, bug, and vandalism. As far as the eye can see is huge massive military planes and jets just waiting. And those are just two states and two small areas in these large states. Imagine if you put all fifty states together, every military base! Not only that but the citizens are armed, the citizens live in a very developed country. Want to attack us by water to land, better prepared to take on all of our citizens with boats and weapons. Better attack us from the soft cry babies of California if you attack from the south you have all the swamps and country land you have to fight to get through if you attack from the east you have the most patriotic but angry citizens in the country who take no bull. If you come from the north you freeze to death. If you attack from the west you have to get through California which is huge!!! And after that you have the wild west, gun toting, tobacco spitting, rattle snake wearing western men who live in the west because you have the right to protect you and your land. In the west you can buy tobacco, a gun, liquor, and your baby diapers all in one place don't fuck with the west. I do have to say the south beats the west. You have to make it past our hill people, our hillbillies, you also have to make it through the sovereign citizens who don't take part in our society's so they live off in the woods and they love to protect America against foreign Invaders. The south is also full of veterans who would once again give their life for the country. Many doomsday preps live in the south, also so does the kkk good luck with those areas. You'll also have to make it past out gator countries... Best thing about the south is... You can't trust the wilderness! The creatures will stalk you and eat you alive and no one will know you're missing. Let's also mention the cults that live all around America, and all the other compounds that believe if you put one step on their land they have the right to shoot you and no one will know because you're miles from a neighbor or any other help. Let me also mention the weather. American weather changes all over the country and it goes from one extreme to the next. Arizona is deadly hot in the day and deadly cold at night. Texas is right next to the ocean all that water means you die from the heat but humid heat. Out of the frying pan into the pot. America even has many many military bases that aren't needed right now... Just wait until we need them imagine how large our military will grow. Oh did I mention each state has their own military. National guard. Each state commands their own national guard so even if our main military branches are all busy we are still covered here on the main land at all times. No matter how many times people fight to disband the military it's only a couple steps to refill and reopen closed military bases. We are a massive force and that is why people fear us and other countries use us for protection like Puerto Rico and Guam. Countries like North Korea have no idea what we are capable of they underestimate us and over glorify their own people. I also need to mention the size of our military I don't mean numbers I mean literal size. Our people are freakishly tall and some freakishly muscular. I hope our country never has to go to war I hope our military saves us a seat so we don't have to attend war on our land. I'm very happy and proud of my countries military and the vets who served. God bless America.

In the 1970's It was estimated the US had a 900 year reserve of coal, we are the Saudi Arabia of coal. Most of our electricy used to be generated by coal, but now more plants are converting to natural gas. Now instead of burning coal the idea is to come up with a cheap and safe method to convert coal into oil or propane or natural gas.

@@Totalremixes2 Actually, now that I think of it, I seem to recall reading that the average *gun owners* in the US has 6. So, if that number plays out, and my number is also correct, about 20-25% of people (legally) own guns, which sounds about right to me. For instance, anecdotally, my dad has 3, my step-mom has 1, and I have 0, so that's 4 between the 3 of us.
