@@slowbizzzle You are both right. If a pizza NEEDS a dip, then the pizza sucks. However, if the dip is good, then it will enhance practically any pizza, no matter how good that pizza is. For example, a really good tzatziki enhances just about every food out there.

The atmosphere at the IIHF final was incredible. Once they start bouncing and chanting it’s so good. Also the euro dance music actually helps a lot. They do it right over there!

I think talking about Forsling, or how Florida won the Tkatchuk trade when it looked like it should a tiny loss, we need to really look at just how good Bill Zito is at his job. Forgotten: Devon Levi and a very late 1st rounder for Sam Reinhart.

I completely agree about hating the long pre-season and starting the season so late, so they can play in the middle of June. The end of the season is too close to the draft and free agency. It messes up team management. The World Hockey Championship gets panned in Canada and the US by players, who basically need to be threatened about losing their chance to play on the Olympic team before some of them will show up.

The big problem with the Bunting/Cernak elbow was that Cernak was not eligible to be hit. Not near the puck. Very important factor.

It’s not a great hit but Rodrigues also hit the ice like he had been shot and then was on the ice for powerplay.. Lomberg and Kukilov hits from game 2 weren’t great either. These are two teams that play over the edge thats why they are still playing 🤷🏻♂️

he drives play in the sense that he's really good at creating turnovers in the offensive zone with his reach fighting for pucks on the boards. a lot of the goals he creates go unassisted

The 2019 overturned goal between Finland and USA was a joke. The American goalie threw herself out of the crease, into the feet of the Finnish player and got a penalty, but because she didn't make it back to the crease the goal was overturned for goalie interference. It was the single worst call ever made.

Guys I believe the reason its a “four team face off” is because its only NHL/AHL players so only Canada, USA, Sweden, Finland and Russia (if they were allowed to compete) could field teams. Not taking European Pros really isolates Czechia, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland and Latvia. As a Canadian who loves all things World Championships im glad to see it talked about more in North America!

Goodrow had 5 conference finals. 1 with San Jose, two with TB, and two with the Rangers. He was injured early on in the 2022 postseason so the games played total is smaller

Zadorov said it and was right because he had the receipt right on his face. In the same scrum for which he got fined for xchecking McDavid in the back (with no injury) Hyman came in with a flying xcheck to Zadorovs face causing a cut and eye injury that needed stitches. Hyman didn't get penalized, suspended or fined on the 'play/scrum'. McDavid caused the entire incident with slashing after the game was done.. also not penalized or fined. Soucy got suspended to 'protect mcdavid' and Zadorov got fined to 'protect mcdavid'.. yet absolutely nothing to 'protect' Zadorov.. again the only person that was actually injured during the incident.

21:30 Preemptive cap dump in the Melnyk era. Melnyk wasn't going to pay Zbad what he was worth, so they shipped him off to the NYR for Brassard, who helped get the Sens to the Conference Final and one goal away from the Stanley Cup finals. Definitely not the worst trade in Ottawa Senators history. Ben Bishop for Cory Conacher as well as the Hoffman trade to the Sharks reeks worse than this one. One also has to remember the GM doesn't work for the fans, but for the owner. If the owner says 'save me a couple million dollars,' and does so, that GM won the trade. It's why Dorion was GM for 7 years.

The best part about Lomberg is that he knows his role. He's not afraid of anyone's size, they're all bigger than him. He also knows when to agitate. If it's worth risking penalty time, its better for him to sit than some of the other agitators on the team. The best part is that he has enough skill to score when he's underestimated.

The elbow is egregious but it’s also the exact same move Rodrigues did way earlier in the game. Plus it’s not nearly worse than the Lomberg hit on Vesey or the Kulikov hit on Wennberg, and only one of those even got a penalty (!!!).

Martin St. Louis wasn't a waiver pickup, he was exposed in the 2000 expansion draft, when he wasn't taken, his contract was bought out and then signed with Tampa

When I was in highschool you could get a season seat for the Panthers for around 600-700 USD and put it on a monthly payment plan. Free parking and everything. Just the parking for last night's game alone was 70 dollars lol

This was when on the average weekday game you could have an entire upper bowl section to yourself. I would go to Tampa to watch playoff games and be thinking "Wow, so THIS is what the NHL is like" Because games at the BB&T center were so dead in comparison especially around 2015. It has gotten so much better, the improvement really started happening around 2019 and 2020, and in the last 2 years the attendance skyrocketed. The upper bowl is completely full for every single game, which never used to happen unless it was a saturday night with the Hawks in town or something

13:10 goodrow has actually been 5 times not 4. The 22 season he was out for the first half but that year the rangers went to the ECF against Tampa.

If I'm eating from a chain like Dominos then yeah I'll eat it with some dip but like actually good pizza should not need a dip at all. Also even as an Islanders fan, I'll give Rangers fans some slack because the ESPN broadcasts have been abysmal from a playoff and intensity aspect. Sean McDonough really shouldn't be calling these games, he's been a letdown and a half and I think most US audience would agree.

Why is Adam the only person who pronounces Zibanejad like that? No one else has ever said it like that. It reminds me of when Steve Simmons tried to tell everybody Gustav Nyquist's last name was pronounced "Knee-quist."

The panthers protected forsling over wennberg, and the kraken took him I was super super sad 😢. About the ticket prices in sunrise 😂. I remember in the early 2000's people would come in with stacks of panthers tickets and ask if they could leave them up in the front of our store for free. We would say no and they would just drop the tickets and run away lol.
