South African here. I think Sam Cane totally justified in the trip / kick of the pitch invader. For me, the clue is in the name "pitch invader" and he deserves what's coming his way. Nothing OTT about a trip, he didn't climb into him and finish the job, just tell the media to piss off and carry on about your business.

Forster and his selection team are head scratchers. Mounga and Barret don't play well together so Mckenzie should have started at 15. Bench looks weak with those backs. Christie slows them down drastically hence they seem to suffer in 2nd. halves. Taylor throws poorly into line outs and Ezebeth will have a full day. Ardie Savea needs a huge game against that back row.

The problem with SA rugby is that each province has their own style of play. It takes time for players from these different franchises to gel. In New Zealand, they all play expansive, running rugby.

This SA teams rugby journey really started in this fixture 4 years ago before the last world cup, when they won on kiwi soil. I just get the feeling could a NZ win on Saturday mark the beginning of the end of that journey? Has the SA team evolved enough and will the bomb squad tactic last forever?

If its going down to the bench, then RSA has the upper hand. Dont get me wrong, I think Nz should be the favourites for this game and are according to the bookings for good reason. But so much of this discussion is about the bench, and I think its the one part where RSA should be favourites. Regarding Sam Cane's apology, its absolutely ridiculous. If some breaks the law and you apprehend him, then good on ya mate. I'll be the first to buy you a beer and say well done.

Bench wise for the abs, especially for our backs. I can’t see much impact there. I mean there’s Clarkes physicality against the springboks, but that’s about it. But no real X factor.

Generally, as a South African, I'd back the Boks because of their bench but I'm reminded that last year at Ellis Park Fossie handled his bench superbly and that secured the win for the All Blacks.

This is a simple game to forecast - if the Boks dominate the front row for 60 minutes of the game, it will be game set match. The Boks will milk the 3's and have for the first time the ability to do serious damage to the 5's

The personnel is comfortable and fine tuned...I just see the upset. I think it's that kind of year for the Boks.
