Are you a new mommy struggling to put your baby on a tummy 🤯 ? Your baby hates tummy time 🙅‍♀️🤷‍♂️ In this video, you will learn tips for five basic exercises to improve your baby's time on a belly. Repeat these exercises each day and in 2 weeks your baby will enjoy tummy time.
Tummy time is critical for the development of newborns. A child's brain development depends on the child's access to free movement.
Turning to the tummy, staying on the side, balancing - all these experiences are critical for developing motor skills, learning abilities, and much more in the future.
But often, babies are not immediately happy to stay on the tummy. They might have muscle and body restrictions after birth, which need to be addressed.
Essentials to follow ❣️
✅ Put the baby on the hard surface
❌ Do not put directly baby on the tummy
✅ Turn the baby on the tummy through the hip movement
✅ Get the baby into correct position
00:00:00 - Intro
00:00:12 - Prepare baby for tummy time
00:00:35 - First Exercise Tapping on the chest
00:02:22 - Second Exercise "Hugs"
00:04:11 - Third Exercise Relaxing pelvis
00:04:53 - Forth Exercise Getting used to the side
00:07:11 - Fifth Exercise Turning to the belly

How do you keep your baby on the side my 2-month-old was spitting up and I always leave him on his back to sleep the formula was coming out of his mouth and he was choking I picked him up so fast and he threw up all on the floor see what I had my other two boys my 28 year old and 20 year old at that time it was okay to put them on his stomach but now you have to lay them on the back if I wasn't in the room with my baby it was no way for the formula to come out because he was laying on his back he would have probably drowned in suffocated on his own throw up

@@user-qq5go2wp5uI'm sure you have your reasons for choosing formula, but it is much less digestible than breast milk. Is there any way you can source breast milk, perhaps through hospital donations? And regarding the bed, look for a bassinet with the option to adjust tilt for reflux babies (also talk to your doctor about the possibility of reflux)

You Can get a pillow designed to lay your baby on the side safely during nap and night time. I use it on my son he is now 4 Month old and benefits greatly from it. He sleeps well and it helps his neck tention and keeps his back head from getting flat also

My kid's daughter said it's better for him to sleep on his back but he sleeps so much better on his stomach or his side and my breast milk is not coming in all the way I guess because I'm 40 years old. I'm older this time with this pregnancy but when my 28-year-old and my 20-year-old it was just fine. But anyway I have to do the formula milk and he gets so gassy and irritable. So now I know how to get the gas and help him. Thank you for sharing

Tummy time is to prevent your child from having FLAT heads. In the Philippines , men have flat heads because their mothers do not practice tummy time . For girls or women, their long hair make their flat heads camouflaged.

It's for neck strength and arm strength. Being able to lift head up once they start rolling and need to prevent suffocation. Head shape is more genetic

I don’t know about an infant; but sleeping on the side as an adult is not good for your back, pelvic area and spine. EDIT: I want to correct myself, after speaking with my pediatrician, they did confirm there’s great benefits for an infant to sleep on their sides during the developmental stage. Training to sleep on the side at early stage doesn’t mean they will sleep the rest of their lives on their sides. It’s important to have side sleep early age time to time. As an adult, it’s always recommended to be on your back rather than side. If you sleep on your side most of your adult life there will be curvatures and imbalances to the spine. A good mattress will help, but never as good as sleeping on back.

My chiropractor says for adults, the healthiest way is to sleep on the back and side. Assuming a person has the proper pillow and mattress, which I think is super important.
