I love how they brought back the raining fireballs from Super Mario World, as well as making it feel like the SMW Bowser fight altogether, though it's a shame it's so anticlimactic here.

If you combine the credits, the final boss of this game alone actually pays homage to a lot of games. 0:12- New Super Mario Bros. (with the final castle theme) 3:16- Super Mario World (with Bowser in a giant clown car, just like the final boss) 5:10- New Super Mario Bros Wii and New Super Mario Bros U ( with Bowser chasing you and pounding with his clown car) 6:11- Super Mario Bros. 3 ( obviously, with the style of the final boss) *NOT SHOWN IN THE VIDEO* The Credits- New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Of course, with the coin collecting. And there's even a counter at the end telling how many coins you have collected.

@blue toad At the end of the autoscroll on here you have to get Bowser to break the stone for him to fall. In SMb3, you have to make Bowser break the bricks with his ground slam for him to fall. So yeah, that's your answer.

So it's a combine + Father-son co-op from NSMB DS + Bowser in a clown car, fireball rain from SMB4 + Auto-scroll phase from NSMB Wii + Bowser-jumping-on-blocks mechanic from SMB3 This is just perfect OwO

This is like a mix of the Mario bros ds final boss (because it has bowser jr.) and the Mario world final boss (because clown car bowser) and Mario 3d world (because the music) and Mario bros u final boss level but not the boss at the end (because the clown car is charging down at you) and finally Mario bros 3 (because the final part of the fight in this mod) it’s a mix of so many bosses it’s so cool.

FreshPlayz Yes it is. The first part of the fight is a callout to Super Mario World, where the fireballs fell from the sky when Bowser was off screen. Then the 3rd and final part was a callout to Super Mario Bros 3, where you had to get Bowser to smash all the bricks that you are standing on in hopes he'd fall through and die.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's a great idea/concept, but I can tell (if this game was made after New Super Mario Bros. U) they took from the beginning of the final lvl where Bowser Jr. is in a clown car and is smashing down on you. Once again, though, amazing idea!!

The boss looks like a culmunation of all the bosses of bowser in the 2D games but, but expanded. -Also, why does Bowser not just fly when falling down since he's in the Koopa Clown Cart.

PKfier they did not have enough memory to add lava at the final part but they tried.
