Just ordered from Amazon for $50 . I already have a p,entrance of batteries and other Ryobi cordless tools . I use them in construction for general use and a Milwaukee set for when I want something more premium or a little more speed control

that was the problem.I took it back. I just got a bad one, cuz this one works!😃now i am trying to use the bits that say "drill bits for Dremmel" need your help again. It doesn't hold the smaller ones?

The screw on top helps flair the rubber grommet.

Loosen the screw a little, on the sanding drums to put the drums on or off then retighten to hold the drum

Not at these speeds or able to get into tight places but yeah totally if you had to dude 👍👍. We do what we must u til we can get something better . Lots of things can be accomplished by file and hand tools as well . 👍

I bought one of these even though I already have 4 Dremel rotary tools. Works well but I wish it had infinitely variable speed instead of the preset 7 speeds that it has.

I have the same model and I was wondering if you could help me, it won't open or close the collet to be able to attach a bit... has this ever happened?

@roxhansen, I hve experienced the same issue I had to just keep working with it and finally I was able to make it work. That said I think it is a poor design and wished it worked like the quick connect on an impact driver. no matter what we can not seem to secure a tool in the tip.. I think the collet is missing.. can it be removable?

Hi Debbie, I had the same issue with mine try loosing the collet then insert the bit. This is the one thing on this tool that I wished Ryobi would change to a quick connect like you see on their impact drivers. If you can't get it to work take it back and swap it for a replacement. @@DavesShop thank you so much for replying. I'm not sure if it is the tool, or me. I took off all of the things on the wand.and tried to start over. Again...again...but nothing will hold the bits that i want to use, will not stay in. You're right though, again that maybe i just got a bad machine. Your video was very helpful, and I "did" subscribe. I have all kinds of these little machines that are supposed to make my things I am making, easier. I am making a wood birthday sign right now, for my brother, for Xmas. and i cannot do any more until i drill these tiny holes in the discs. Thank you very much😃

Should have a kill switch on the handle, doesn't seem like the safetst tool.
