@@bog4543 did you read my comment? i know it was written by a songwriter from sweden who is fluent in English. What the company did was rewrite the song in Korean from english. so all the Korean parts are re written and the English parts were probably kept as it is. which is why i mentioned that the english lyrics that they didnt rewrite to Korean is the worst part regarding the lyrics because the original song likely was written with an innuendo. they overlooked the part that cookie can have innuendos because in Korean baking cookie is slang for making music which was their mistake. In all honesty i do wish they looked more into it before they decided on the song but i can understand why they missed it. As an English speaker from the UK, i didnt know cookie had that meaning until this whole thing blew up, because no one uses it here in that context. its mainly an American thing so it makes sense why they probably didnt know it either. In the future i really hope they make these choices carefully and not leave room for mistakes.

However, it's not just foreigners that are bothered by the lyrics now, Koreans are speaking out about it, too. The difference is though they were in a group with older members. The eldest just turned 18 in this group. The girls shouldn’t get hate because of their age but there should be some caution. Also let’s applaud that now people are looking out for them as opposed to in the earlier days. We shouldn’t be advocating for this just because it happened in the past. We are lucky that those people turned out okay but then again what do we know what happens behind the scene. I just really don’t like this reasoning because we can also name young stars that didn’t turn out well so. Let’s just keep an eye out for them and enjoy their music.

Your opinion is subjective. Most Koreans don’t have a dirty mind like you people, their culture is different from others. That’s why Koreans, Ador and the girls love the song and often play it in their livestreams. Are you someone of science or logic? Let me educate you a bit. You say the song is inappropriate and others say it’s not. So clearly your opinion is subjective. “Nothing is certain until an observer makes a measurement” - science. “music or art is subjective, it’s all a process of cognitive biases, subconscious mechanisms intertwined with consciousness, it’s opinion based” - logic. Just because you say that it’s inappropriate doesn’t make it universally inappropriate, others love it. So scientifically and logically speaking, the song is appropriate and inappropriate at the same time. And this is why art is subjective.

We should allow kpop groups (who are adults in entirety and are actually looking for that sort of branding) to be a little inappropriate or to break out the box a little.
