I want to say 9 times out of 10 no one does the research to see if it’s the same “these” people. The difference between 50 Cent and Mos Def is not the same as the difference between 50 and a mumble rapper. 50 might be dumbed down with "go shorty, it's ya birthday" but he still had to write bars like "God's the seamstress that tailor fitted my pain" to get where he was. These days you can mumble pure bs with a catchy hook over a catchy beat.
