I've seen woman after woman cry her eyes out, begging me not to take it. I got so used to it that it doesnt even effect me anymore. Especially after seeing more than a few play me with their tears.. but still to this day, it's only happened to me twice in a 4 year span doing this job. When you watch a grown man break down and start crying... it takes a cold person to not feel bad.

There are so many idiots who buy a junk ass truck, spray paint "towing and recovery" on the door, get the cheapest insurance they can find and then a forwarding company starts sending them work and they make the professionals who work hard to do this job right, look bad. You dont need a gun, you dont need to be a big bad ass tough guy, you don't need to be aggressive. You learn the business with experience and no matter how bad you may wanna be a repoman, it's not for everyone.. I've had men come outside screaming, throwing shit, threatening me with a gun and I've left there with their car hooked to my truck, keys in my hand and the debtor thanking me.. it's not what tv makes it out to be
