Sadhguru today was in Kolkata for 1:30 hrs. Satsang session and I attended today, awesome experience as first time I see and listen him live just few metres away!! You tried your best to understand about Dhyanalinga but honestly it is not easy to understand that concept because one lifetime of spiritual study is not enough to be spiritually aware about the Sanatan Dharma. And there is no shortcut to understand thoroughly, you need follow this spritual path like any other routine activities of every day, then only your brain will work towards the understanding of that knowledge. Yes I agree, understand Sadhguru's speach is quite a task !! Hope someone will explain in mail on this.. I can give a try but bit lazy in writing so tough philosophy and sometimes I couldn't find the proper English words also!

Unfortunately, the mesmerizing story got Lost in the Translation (it's dubbed video, though official) The Dhyanlinga is a consecrated Linga meaning it is established by infusing life energies, the Prana. The gigantic Linga and the architecture of the dome is unbelievable and designed very carefully but it is the energies of the linga which draw people into tears and meditative states. "The project was arduous because it is the only linga with all the seven (energy) chakras fully activated, locked and consecrated in a single form. It is not that previous Yogis were inefficient but it required to work with people who have absolute integrity of mind, body and energy. The last two Yogis whom Sadhguru mentioned were Sadhguru himself in his previous births". It's not the physical structure per se makes a linga special but the way it is consecrated and the energies it exudes. The inside of the granite stone is filled with energized metallic Mercury which is an exclusive speciality of Yogic and Siddha sciences and the pot hanging on top drips liquid onto the linga. There is also a Linga in the dome which is visible from the outside. "The yogis were not able to close the linga doesn't mean that they were not able to physically fill/close the crack but since they didn't lock/trap the energies on time with necessary processes, the linga cracked and could not render desired energy form".
