I'll admit, that is the first time i've seen a hose feeding a manure injector from that far away. What an impressive system. From the pool to the trucks, to the tank, through the pump to the hose to the Injector. Awesome.

I know several big farmers (500-1500 cows) which pump directly from their pits through a mile or 2 of hose to a large tractor with injector or spread plates. They actually put special PVC lines under roads to run their hoses through which they cap when not in use. It looks like if they have to go further, they have "pumping" stations along the way.

Hell ya, glad your not stopping the vids. It’s great how one minute your replacing the vac pump on the shit sucker, then cutting corn, then replacing broken axles, then climbing up a silo. On this vid a pipe line of manure, the most diverse content of all the farm channels. Thanks for taking the time to make and upload.

I've been waiting to see this video since you got the frac tank. I worked for an injecting company spring of 98 in WI. Injecting has come along way since than. Our pumps used to be on straight trucks used to haul tractor and pull hose reel. Had to take drive shaft off truck and put on pump.

Not leaving YT, that is cool I like watching your vid's as it shows a different style of farming in the USA, then Here in Australia. Even tho in quite a lot of way's it can be similar. Here farms are diversified a lot more as in Sheep or Cattle and/or cropping/hay/seeds. Sure makes that big tractor work.
@bryanbishop8063 жыл бұрын
Really impressive, the volume is unbelievable to me, that's got to be some tough stuff, not to mention to ridged pipe and pivot mounted on the tractor. Lots more efficient than having to stop and fill applicator tanks. Again Impressive.

Thanks for the ride along Andy, injection is a good way to apply high amounts of manure to the acre. The ole girls keep an endless supply for you.
@leesteele92903 жыл бұрын
THanks for the drag line tour , several custom operators around here for hog buildings. the hose humper is something I'm not accustomed to I guess it keeps the hose out of the path of the application area without any hand work ! That frac tank is gonna save you a lot of compaction and wear on your tank applicators ! I'm sure they aren't cheap but I'll bet you know the economics involved with the custom operators !! Keeping that tank full is a job I'll guess , but as long as the trucks keep going it looks pretty streamlined !

Andy, I find your videos very informative and. fun. I see that type of manure injection around here all the time and I always wondered why they did it that way. Your explanation of how so much more can be applied throughout the day explains it. I also marveled at how tough that hose must be to withstand all the pressure and being dragged through the field. I can say it, Trump 2020.
