Newton’s Third Law of Motion
- Whenever one body exerts a force on another body, the second body exerts an equal and opposite force on the first body.
- Force exerted by first body is action.
- Force exerted by second body is reaction.
- Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. .

Mam if opposite direction force is applied with same magnitude with+ ve and -ve then it will be balanced force so there would be not a motion no change so then How we can move forward and walk towards?
@smritichandra1
@smritichandra1 19 күн бұрын
When equal n opposite force is applied on a single body then the balanced force produces no effect. Here force through action is applied on one body and equal n opposite force as reaction is applied on another body. So depending on the different masses of the two body different acceleration is produced hence the different motion happens on both the body

By Newton's third law of motion....jab hum log ground ko push karte hain to ground bhi hume equal and opposite force exert Karti h.But Hame pata h ki jab two forces equal and opposite Hoti hain to wo dono forces balanced ho jaati h,then why do we come in motion????
@suchitprajapati328
@suchitprajapati328 3 жыл бұрын
By newton's third law of motion, whenever we apply a force on the ground with a certain magnitude, that is,perform an action on the ground, the ground too exerts a force with the same magnitude but opposite in direction. You mean the force exerted by the body and the force replied by the ground should cancel each other. It is not so since the third law of motion also states that action and reaction force acts on two different objects.

Madam, you told us that the Action Force which we give is given back to us by as Reaction Force by the ground...So if I take the Action Force as +5N and the Reaction Force as -5N,then our Resultant Force would be 0....Right???? THEN WHY DO WE MOVE FORWARD??? WE SHOULD STAY AT ONE PLACE...

Mam Newton's 3rd law of motion states that (to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction) mam here is equal it's means if we apply 5N force on object it will react and give 5N force back it means these are called balanced forces but if balanced forces are acting why will object move

You need an unbalanced or an acceleration or a deaccelaration force to change the state, you need to" change" the state of force applied to ground
