You guys purchased the car when no one was ready to invest in EVs. But you went ahead with it and started vlogging about your trips and experience. It takes lot of courage to do this in first place. Yes I love my Nexon EV. I don't think I can live without it. The product is fantastic. Tata has done a great job in putting up this product but they are way way behind in customer service experience. For me the experience has not at all been good. First of all I have never got any free service like what they claimed. Whenever I go to them, they charge me for some or other thing. I have stopped going to them. I am looking at private players like GoMechanic, etc. Atleast they are courteous enough to listen and acknowledge my problems. Moreover, I want to say that you guys have been my inspiration. It has been your videos which has inspired me to drive the car tension free and take it out to different locations. I would personally want to meet you and thank you for all the work you guys have been doing. Keep up your hard work and I would look forward to meet you guys some day.

So true about the irritating noise that apparently no one can solve. I thought this was an issue in only my nexon ev. What I observed is this happens more on concrete road and less/no noise on asphalt roads. Noise also becomes less frequent when tire pressure is below the given values. Thanks for this review!

Eastern side of India mainly Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, and Orissa lacs charging infrastructure. I am from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and still waiting for it to buy an ev. As most people can't afford one extra ice car for highway.

Just sharing my own experience- once I called for some help regarding charging issue. One CSE gave me the number of Tata Power and I was diverted for the new connection etc in Mumbai, though I m from Delhi 😊. Another CSE told me that the helpline number is on the charger itself but *Mai Surf Excel Ke Dag Ki Tarah Number Ko Dhundhta Hi Rah Gaya*😊. The point is that CSEs need to be trained well for EV related issues.

About service centre quality they need to invest in some standard across the service centre...they can hire someone from Maruti or Hyundai...just for start...I don't understand why is it so difficult to implement such basic standards in this day and age.

Many people complain about Tata services. it's time that Tata take corrective measures. Tata customer service/ support is still in deep sleep. Regarding charging infra, why don't all petrol pumps keep one charging point? At least a 7 kw Ac charging socket.

Can you guys confirm reported reduction in GST on EV's from 12 to 5% and custom duty on batteries from 21 to 13% from next financial year. I think it will bring down prices significantly. Your feedback will help me to wait for a month. Thanks.

One thing I would like to get clarified about these savings of money compared with that of an ICE..Nobody is telling the fact that any EV model is at least 5-7 lakhs more than the traditional petrol diesel car. Which implies that the so called cost savings is already charged at upfront and add the interest component if we purchase through bank loan. Add the Additional Insurance cost for that extra 5-7 lakhs. In a nutshell it's a complete myth that ev cars are money saver. Unless and until it matches the price of a traditional car no real savings are going to happen.

Do you know if anyone is doing anything to develop a single app for charging. The biggest worry for me , and the reason i have cancelled my nexon ev max booking, is this over reliance on apps and technology for charging payment. A lot of people are not so tech savvy, and offline payment system as you mentioned would be a godsend. The day majority of petrol pumps install FC points, and allow offline payment, i will buy the max. 😀

Which do you suggest for 150km daily drive for 3 years (1.6 lakh km)? Then 1k km per month. From nexon max - mh zs ev - byd atto 3? Which is best investment for longterm considering kilometres and warranty

You can see there Leh vlog where they have to travel back to pune from leh and car was there for one week and no battery drop. I myself own Tata Tigor Ev and have tested it for 10 days no battery drop is there. One thing company suggest is that when you are planning for not using car for more than 2 weeks, you can remove the auxiliary battery terminals.

It depends on wh/km u consuming. In case of Nexon Prime battery size is 30kwh so calculation goes by (30 * 1000)/ kw consumption For example your average is 100 kw/km Then (30*1000)/100 = 300 km Mine Nexon Prime is also delivering about 240-250 km with AC and around 270 without AC

To put in the correct perspective, EVs are on average 30% more costly compared to their ICE counterparts. So you are already paying 5-6 lakhs more than ICE. Even after driving 60k kms, you have only saved 3.6 lakhs (considering 6 Rs per km savings) then sorry it is not worth a deal at the moment. Still these EVs are converted ones, Gen 1 as Tata calls them. I would rather wait for pure EVs.

The premium they paid is well beyond any ice car can match at any price . The regular manual ice Nexon will feel like a tractor after driving the max. No cost can bridge the gap for driving comfort, instant torque, single pedal drive n zero emissions

@@theelectricmile474 I don’t agree on that, price is an effective deal breaker for the middle class. If money doesn’t affect you then go for Ioniq5 or atto 3 or EV6 to get the premiumness. Tata Nexon is way behind the competition in terms of electronic architecture and features. This is coming from someone has driven Nexon EV prime, EV Max and MGZS EV. One example, MG ZS EV max charging speed is 80kW, that means you can charge from 20 to 80% in less than 30 minutes, how much time one would save on long drives. I am not saying Nexon is bad but the technology which Tata is using is quite old, I would rather wait for new tech to arrive if I would like to go with Tata

Max is great option with this speed you get 250 range...in prime may be you drive slow for this range 🤔 better to invest more to avoid range problem 😀

Go for a car with bigger battery, you will have to charge less i.e less charging cycles and better battery health. Also I would suggest go for MG coz they use LiFePO batteries which can sustain more than 5000 charge cycles. Convert these into kms and your battery can last 10 Lakh kms
