LOEWE was sold by Good Guys in Washington State when I was in my Custom Sales days there. Beautiful televisions, both image / sound quality and aesthetic were outstanding. So happy to see they’re still in the game and utilizing the most up to date tech. I would have gone with a QD OLED panel but that’s nitpicking 😊 Love these quick update segments. Really helps me forecast for upcoming client projects. Thank you keep em coming. Oh and yes. You’re not alone many clients walking into our showrooms would call them Low’s or my favorite Louie 😆 It is yes pronounced Lou Va 💫

Thing is, the current Apple TV is super powerful and is by far the best streaming device. Apple don't need to update the hardware, but perhaps make some tweaks and changes with the OS. Maybe reduce the price of the current Apple TV, so it becomes more competitive, compared to the others.

Confirming Loewe is a German manufacturer. They have been producing in Kronach for the last 100 years. Love their televisions and design philosophy

0:42 Apple is said to not be announcing any hardware at WWDC this year (which is different from recent years but not unusual), instead focusing on software exclusively. There are apparently major changes coming to iOS/iPadOS and macOS, so I suppose Apple wants the focus to be on that.

We need an Apple TV with an M2 chip. We should be able to start a game on an iPhone or iPad and finish it on the Apple TV. It also needs AI so it can for example list action movies available on Netflix, Max, and Prime Video. It’s time to do more than a basic spec bump

The fashion brand spelled Loewe is said Lo-way-vay or something like that. If it's the same brand, I have mostly heard of them for their red carpet dresses.

Thank you for this video. Along the lines suggested, I would like the new Apple TV 4K (Pro) to have H2 chip for lossless audio for AirPod Pro 2 e future AirPods Max 2 and an HDMI passthrough port so that I can also connect a PS5 / Blueray player and suck the audio from there and use Apple headphones. Would be the perfect answer to Sonos Ace and also for a push of Homepods

The current Apple TV doesn't really need an upgrade to the hardware except maybe for a less clicky remote. The software could use some tweeks or at least allow more customization by the user.

It would be cool to have a new ATV4K becuase who doesnt love new stuff? But in my opinion, being heavily in the apple ecosystem, I feel like its perfect for my needs already. I originally got the ATV to disconnect my s90c from the internet to avoid unwanted firmware updates, and possibly get a better user interface and It ended up helping picture and surround sound quality too. My OLED and ATV together is just *chefs kiss*

Totally agree, I don’t think Apple is maxing out its current 4k box. I’m on a 2nd gen 4k device and I just don’t feel like I need a new one yet. I’m sure Apple will come up with some must have feature though.

Verizon deal is $130 and only for 64. The 128 costs 149-I just bought it from apple… If it’s not going to be announced shortly, no point in my waiting . I’ll get the new one when it comes out.

I have two Apple Tvs, 4k first gen and HD (I bought it used). Both work amazingly. They are already too powerful for what they do, no need to upgrade for a long time. The previous Apple TV Gen 2 I used until Apple stopped supporting it. Which is a shame because that one also worked great.

I think an Apple TV using the A18 with less cores than the A18 Pro for the iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max may be coming late this fall (essentially the same SoC as the iPhone 16/16 Plus). It will have 8 GB of RAM and support WiFi 7 (802.11be). It may look like the current Apple TV box but will be slightly bigger for improved cooling.

A major flaw of Apple TV is that it doesn’t automatically output the streaming material @ its native resolution. You have to manually select and stick to one output resolution. A huge miss in my book.

If you’re referring to this feature… Go to Settings > Video and Audio > Match Content, then choose from the following: Match Dynamic Range: Turn on to have Apple TV 4K match its output to the original dynamic range of content that you're watching. …this is not related to the issue I mention on my post.

I don't even know what a new Apple TV would do. The previous ones up until the last one or two filled obvious needs: 2nd gen was a reset, 3rd gen brought 1080p, 4th brought the new UI/UX, 5th brought 4K and HDR. 6th and particularly the 7th didn't really do anything much more than HDR10+ and HFR support (and making ethernet exclusive to the higher tier).

Apple TV needs a good AI upscaler like the Shield TV. 480p / 720p / 1080p content looks gorgeous on a 4K display.

Yeah. Though many TVs now have better scaling than the Shield. My Sony has better processing than the Shield. So does LG now.

I have been running 2x Shield TVs daily since 2015 and they have been awesome. The only thing they lack for me is good HDR/DV support, but otherwise they still support every streaming service and can play any non-HDR format spectacularly. Really wish there was a new model coming out with HDM2.1 and AV1 support so I can upgrade and get DV support on my one OLED TV.

Features I would want: Excellent "match frame rate". AI enhancements in processing. Ability to easily and permanently disable Dolby Vision. As in choose to use it or not. And just with a toggle turn it off so it always fall back on HDR10/+. More powerful performance.

I’m so excited for the new Panasonics,As a video enthusiast who’s been talking about the accuracy and chipsets of Pana,Their new TVs have pretty ridiculous AI upscaling and settings better than Sony,On top of the best Streaming TVs you can buy now with Fire TV and so on,It’s a shame many reviewers will not get a chance in the US because they are really special sets that would give sony a headache.

Apple needs to fix the remote. Its plain garbage. Hate the inconsistent trackpad & the click of buttons is bad. Sony tv remotes r far better. Airplay is pretty bad too - even while using with iphone or mac. Then they need to make the device capable of 4k 120 hz gaming & add a thunderbolt port so it can be used with an apple studio display

What would be nice from new ATV - better upscaling - better frame rate matching for EU - av1 decoder - DTS 7.1, Dolby Atmos, HDR10+, DVIQ - m1 \ m2 chip to play games with a controller / M+K - ai features (search, ChatGPT, better support for other languages) - video camera I think Apple is waiting for new AI update before releasing new ATV.

I hope Nvidia updates the Nvidia Shield TV Pro. As much as I love my Apple tv 4k , there is no other device supports basically all audio formats + play movies directly from an external hard drive. Unfortunately, I am afraid it will never happen when Nvidia are too busy with selling their Ai chips.

Hardware announcements at the Apple Developer conference are extremely rare. They only announce them there if they need to introduce a new hardware to talk about the software tools available for developers. So, unless Apple is making a new Apple TV for AAA gaming, it’s not happening. You don’t need Gurnman to tell you that 😉😁

Apple TV doesn't really need a new model yet. The current one runs the latest OS and Apple isn't worried about 8K. I'm happy with my AppleTV.

On board AI in Apple TV? God no. Apple sometimes just loses its mind and keeps trying to push an agenda that no one really wants or needs. Just give us a newer, cleaner, revised Apple TV to stay more current and dump in AI after that evolves.

APTV is the most useless device, worse than the iPad. To be honest, I bought it and had to return it. If you have a smart TV, you don’t need it. I honestly don’t know why they even bother to make it with all these limitations for audio and video, especially on audio if you have a hi-fi or surround system.

It depends of you like a simple fluid interface vs a clunky interface filled with ads. Also the processor on a ATV is able to software decode AV1 flawless. I also like the ability to VPN on my ATV.

The Apple TV is actually one of the best products. I hate that all TVs are « smart » nowadays, and do things mostly in an average way. The Apple TV OS is so much better.
