Alright here we have two Sakura D5 chassis to compare side by side! Both have been a big success and we are beginning to see more and more option parts for these chassis so let's take a look at the differences between these two versions of the Sakura D5 to help you decide which one is best for you! I had both i like the MR better but thats me. As for wheel nuts i converted my MR over to standard and like u said buy wheels and tires lol great review

Awesome review! Definitely agree the 5mm offset wheels are useless and hinder the performance of the D5. The “quick release” on the MR would have to be changed for me. Excited to see the comparisons. Carbon MR is🔥

Oi eu tenho o kit Sakura d5mr v2 e não montei ainda, estou com duvida sobre por os amortecedores dianteiro em cima , qual a diferença? Seu vídeo não foi traduzido pra mim então não entendi nada que vc falou

Olá, traduzi esta mensagem para você aqui :) Prefiro que os amortecedores dianteiros sejam montados com a torre do amortecedor, permite mais ajuste e sensação na minha opinião. O kit D5 MR V2 permite montagem superior ou montagem em torre de choque. a montagem superior funciona, mas prefiro a torre de choque.

I am just about to pick up one of these and I think the Mr What do you pro drifters use for a battery in these chassis?

Yiss I prefer the MR more now than the RR. Typical batteries I see are the slim shorty (1s sized) 2S Lipo usally 100c 3500-4000Mah. I run Yokomo, Reve-D, DS Racing and Gens Ace batteries currently

Currently waiting on my chassis, haven't purchased body, if you could suggest good sites to start looking for a body, i love older body style, i.e. Datsun car and pickups. Awesome video. Thank you for the content

You can check out ABC hobby, aplastics, MST and such for older car styles. Most retail hobby websites have large body selections to choose from. Thank you for watching!

Yes as it is the most refined version of the D5 in the budget class.

Noob question I’m sure but what are the caps on the magnets for? Do you glue them in your body choice maybe?

Hello I’m having the hardest time with the front wheels rubbing on the ball cup like you said. What knuckles would you recommend that would give me clearance ? Thank you I appreciate your help

Hello :) Ok are you still using the stock wheels from the kit? If so, change them up to a higher offset because the stock ones are only 5mm offset and are not enough to clear the ball cup. If you like the stock wheel offset, use axle spacers between the wheel hex and the wheel to get more offset, use at least 2-3mm of spacers. Knuckles, you have many options, Reve-D did make a blog post about using their SG front knuckles on the D5-RR when it launched and achieved some nice results right away.
