Hey nezo i got a question. Im thinking about purchasing yeahracing heatsink with dual fans. I got a 3 chan receiver and chan 3 is occupied with the gyros sensor wire. Can i pin the + & - wires of the fans into the gyros empty + & - pins? Will this mess with chan3 for the gyro? If not, would it be possible to get a y connection and use the esc (10bl120 g2) fan port for them?

Thanks, this has been quite helpful on several occasions as I build mine. I mixed up ball 8 vs 12 (16?)mm ball ends, used the wrong screws in one spot, left out the one of the bearings in two different spots but its been a nice build otherwise. The manual is very confusing, esp the dark muddy images, in spots. But after about 5 hours Im at the shock build phase. Weeeee!

Kyosho had 275mm wheelbase to play with, and still made the car too short and wide to be scale...hope that more and more companies will start making narrow main bodies and then using widebody fenders to reach standard width. So easy to do, and looks ten times better imo. MST (LBMT) & Aplastics (RS6) show how it's done, even with standard wheelbase copies of IRL cars that have a pretty long wb.

If it’s suspension from the 80s oh yeah it matches with a little 1jz motor swap things is slinging but if it’s real drift it’s supposed to be on coil overs hard af to rail lines and keep angle so in my conclusion that seems fun to drive if your trying to just have some fun and enjoy the day.

Way too much weight shift… looks a little ridiculous lol. I’d put the foam back :p also it looks a little slow compared to the other cars where my lp absolutely hauls ass. It’s an absolute blast to chase people down with and I’m usually on their door. Such a fun chassis tho, I have honestly not even touched my rdx and shark since I’ve gotten it haha.

Hello I’m having the hardest time with the front wheels rubbing on the ball cup like you said. What knuckles would you recommend that would give me clearance ? Thank you I appreciate your help
@BadShoppe12 күн бұрын
Hello :) Ok are you still using the stock wheels from the kit? If so, change them up to a higher offset because the stock ones are only 5mm offset and are not enough to clear the ball cup. If you like the stock wheel offset, use axle spacers between the wheel hex and the wheel to get more offset, use at least 2-3mm of spacers. Knuckles, you have many options, Reve-D did make a blog post about using their SG front knuckles on the D5-RR when it launched and achieved some nice results right away.

Do you use any gyro to stabilize your camera and have it point forward?
@BadShoppe12 күн бұрын
On the camera cars no. I use a Go Pro Hero 4 Session Cube and a Hero 7 Black. This is the Hero 7 Black. Weirdly it looks like its on a gyro or something but i think the camera is just leaning over a bit when the car is sideways.
@timboE21914 күн бұрын
how do you compare this to the bingo chassis, and have you tried the different flex configurations yet?
@BadShoppe10 күн бұрын
So far I have not obtained a test chassis kit of my own to really test it and compare it. I drove another driver's car with carbon fury's newest hyperflex deck installed and it was quite good on p-tile. Both are highly effective and give great performance gains.

I rebuilt my shocks last Friday, drifted on Saturday, checked shocks while replacing springs afterwards. Half of shaft rebound lost. Is it an o-ring problem?
@nitroxx_za183714 күн бұрын
If you find your bottom end of your shock to be wet then ya it's possible it can be a o ring. I have had it once with a bladder that went bad as well
@BadShoppe10 күн бұрын
0oooo dang, the o-ring might have gotten sliced when it was installed onto the shock shaft...if it was installed dry without oil or green slime grease then it is likely that the o-ring was damaged but he shock shaft threads. The other thing could be the the shocks lost too much oil when installing the top hat and cap. You can re-open the top of the shock and add some more oil back inside and re-bleed and re-install the top hat/cap and see if your rebound returns to full.

In terms of upgrades. What is the route to go? Do a conversion to Shark or jump into an SD 2.0?
@BadShoppe10 күн бұрын
RD 2.0 u can do anything really. SD 2.0 is also a weapon. I personally like both a lot but given the choice between RD and SD 2.0's i'd go SD 2.0. Between the Shark vs SD 2.0? ... Shark is a conversion kit car where as the SD 2.0 is a complete car.
@cianu69 күн бұрын
I already have the RD 2.0 I really like it a lot, the only issue I have with it is that my bell crank or my steering system for some reason gets loose and I have to be constantly adjusting and tightening it, that is why I want to know if is worth to do either a Shark conversion on it or just directly get and SD 2.0. Other than that everything else is working great and I am not even using fancy electronics. Thanks ❤

How do you calibrate the reverse for this ESC, everythng works great but can't seem to get the reverse to calibrate?
@BadShoppe10 күн бұрын
Reverse is calibrated and set during the standard calibration process. After that you much connect to the ESC via bluetooth and Breve 1.0 app to set driving mode to F/N/B/R...by default reverse is disabled.

if it is not that, check your radio's channel 2 reverse settings. You may need to change that settings to get calibration to complete properly.
