I've been doing a lot of soul-searching for the past couple of years and the one artist to help me get through the struggles of mental illness was none other than NF. It was because of my viewers and those who are close to me helped me figure out there was something really wrong with me. This has been a very uncomfortable subject to even bring up to all of you, I felt that I owed it to not only myself but to those who are struggling to admit that they are in need of help as well. This is a very serious subject so please be respectful to those who choose to comment on this video or those that suffer in silence. You just never know who is going through what, especially nowadays. I understand this is not a normal reaction video and I would completely understand if you do not stay through the entirety of the video. All I ask is that you possibly share this video with those who need a wake-up call when it comes to mental health. Even if you are good in health, I would like to hear some feedback, it really helps me and others more than you know. Again, thank you for watching and showing all your support. Man it’s ok, us as Outcasts (NFs fan base) understand mental issues. It is said that we find NF not when we want to but when we NEED to find him. His discography is his literal journey through Nate’s mental health! I know he has helped me to find emotions and address issues throughout my life, even now he’s helping me to keep my disassociate identity disorder in check through a nightmare sale of a house. His Mansion and Therapy Session album are the beginning to his Journey and I’m sure the Outcasts will help you to know the order. We are here for you bro and your not alone

I had to get help with my mental illness. My thoughts and ocd was making me fear everyone and I had become a recluse. I'm almost 42 and my mind had convinced me that there was no way that anyone could help me. I just figured I was stuck with intrusive thoughts and obsessions over the smallest things. None of that was true. I reached out to my doctor and I got help. My mind is much calmer now. I've been a fan of NF since 2015. Stay blessed and mentally healthy family!

Check out the song called Changes by NF. It is an amazing song. You should be able to take time for yourself for your mental health. It's important to take care of yourself and not worry what people say cause at the end of your day you have to help you

I've learned recently that you can experience grief for any and all types of loss. For some reason I had it in my head that it was only when a loved one passes away. I've recently had to modify/cut ties with someone who has been a vital part of my life for quite some time. Time heals all wounds, but I can tell you that it's tough af. Just remember that its better to experience the feelings/emotions then to suppress them to the point where it may end up causing you more mental distress later. I tend to dissociate and now my personal work is drawing out some of those emotions and like I said, it's tough af. Keep strong brother. Don't afraid to reach out to loved ones, or your support group. Don't be afraid of seeking professional help (just keep an open mind, and also know that not all professionals may be the right fit for you [ya may have to shop around a tad]). Take it easy.

My husband suffered with depression, quietly, for three years. I knew he was not ok, but I also understood how hard it is for a man to admit he needs help. Then one day he finally told me that he was not ok and needed help. For me, that one day took more strength than the three years he suffered quietly, telling everyone he was ok.

Never watched or listened to NF before, but being a Ren fan, it brought me here. (The beauty of the Ren Rabit hole) and WOW i need more!!! I dont suffer with MH myself but i work in the industry so i have a huge understanding of it's effects.

I'm sorry for whatever you are currently going through. Many of NF's songs have brought me to tears when I least expect it. The past 6 years have been extremely difficult for my family and having the freedom to express how you feel is an important part of healing and growth. One day at a time....
