Im playing it now on my other pc with resolutions turned up and woooow. With the new rosters its like a whole new game. 11 years and counting and still have the best tackling physics ive seen.

Give me a break...that second TD pass for the guy playing the Texans and going for it on 4th and 6 from his own 20-ish is "realistic"? The fact that the video shows that exact same play working over and over in a single game is "sim"? There is literally NOTHING sim or realistic about the TE corner route burning Man to Man defense CONSTANTLY...its the same BS that people crucify Madden for every year... Face it, there is no such thing as an accurate NFL sim, never was and never will be... People don't want real sim with punting and field position making the difference in winning and losing...they want money plays that are easy to execute and burn the defensive AI at a predictable clip. The market gets the game that it REALLY wants every year, and that is not a "simulation" of football, it is a videogame football - lots of passing yards, lots of scoring, next to no defense, and the usual nonsense with money plays.

Madden has had 13 years to improve. And yet they barely improve and still use the same crappy base code and animations. There would have been 10x the progress if 2k still made football games but it's a monopoly now so nothing changes.

@Traveler ... maybe because the animations (based on the 12 principles of animations) are better represented by 2k. It’s why I have stopped playing MLB the Show and moved on to playing the Japanese baseball game called Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2019. The animations are better represented by PYS. The pitching motion / mechanics in MLB the Show is still terribly flawed in 2019.

The halftime show and weekly wrapups by chris berman were so amazing. Ea still can't do anything near that.

law56ker The most beautiful thing I can think of would be perhaps a 360 on maybe.... A 4k tv. I'm not sure what else you could use but it would be upscaled cleanly and especially on the 360 with backwards compatibility maybe it might help with AA and other graphical effects. But with the pc ps2 emulator I believe you are able to achieve 60fps while the xbox or ps2 title it is 30fps I believe.

Lajairius Jackson Xbox 360 i believe so but on Xbox 1 i wish. Madden has gotten better but it still lacks the feel of this game and the blocking and tackling is still inferior compared to 2k5

some games are just tougher than others to run smooth. Just how emulation works I guess...

Because of the hard time it has rendering the massive crowd with the upscaled graphics. I have this issue too with my i7 4790 and GTX 970. Do a manual resolution of 1920x1080 and see if that fixes it. it did for me.
