Every team will get the ball near mid field after every kick return it will be impossible for the defense to stop a offense from scoring.. They are doing too much tinkering with the game the so-called hip drop tackle is also another source for confusion.

I think the really cool thing about this change is it is going to add value to undervalued skillsets, and will provide better opportunities and $$ to players on the lower end of the salary cap. Blocking TEs, HBs, FBs, drop kickers, "undersized" offensive linemen or just tweeners in general.

Instead of rolling it out all at once, they should have been more cautious. Only the Packers get the new Kickoffs this year, only the Vikings get the hip drop thing.

The touchbacks put the ball at the 30 so they'll kick it shorter.

My guess is NFL coaches will not risk returns and the majority of teams will touch back a majority of the time
