@@hjejohnsan6646 Nah dude, definitely Beauden. I'm just saying I liked Beauden at flyhalf. He was the all blacks flyhalf for a while and was amazing. He is still great at fullback. Jordie is good too, def one of the most promising players out there. Still not completely sure about his positioning tho. He seems a little tall for fly-half, even tho I think that's what he specializes in right now. Still, my point stands that Beauden was one of the best fly-half's out there- it's very likely that he would have been fly-half for the world cup if Damian Mackenzie hadn't gotten hurt. And I also know about their brother Scott, the forward. He's great too.

This is such an entertaining video to watch!!! I found it so funny and cool to watch someone so surprised by rugby and Beauden Barret. For future reference, in rugby there are not different teams in a team. You have the first 15 players on the field and then 8 on the bench. The team is split up into forwards and backs. Numbers 1 - 8 are the forwards who are usually bigger, beefier guys and number 9 - 15 are the backs who are often the more skilful fast people. Each number is a different position and each position does different things but together they all work as a unit. You can kick the ball at any point in time and it can be along the ground, from out of the hands, long or high. There are specific rules to when you can play the ball like offsides and everything but when a player is tackled, no the game does not stop. It forms a ruck and players can contest for the ball in that. There is no limit to the amount of rucks you can have. I hope you found this comment helpful in some way and I really hope you see this. Great video!!!!

I can't stand NFL, but honestly if you look up the weights and compare them, NFL players are a bit bigger than rugby players. Its just because they don't actually have to run, so mobility and fitness isn't a concern like it is in rugby. Players like Atonio, Skelton, Etzebeth or Tameifuna are all significantly lighter than the heaviest NFL players.

There is no offence, defence or special teams, everyone plays all 3 and there are no OL men as they also play in the middle. If they kick forward the person has to start in line as they kick other wise it is offside but they can run forward and meet it (Edit) the people in the scrum play the in the game as well they do go on/off just for the scrum (Edit 2) the ball has to touch the “endzone” without your feet going out of bounds

You can kick the ball forward but not pass it forward, if the ball is kicked out of the field of play there is a line out which consists of a line of the same number of players from both teams the ball is thrown between the two lines of players who try to grab the ball before the other teams line then there is a half back who is given the ball or it is taken into a maul where the ball is grubbed out then passed out through the line unti they score or are tackled once tackled the player who is tackled must place the ball on the ground behind him for another team member to pick up once the ball is picked up the player who picks it up either runs with it or passes it back or can kick it forward. The ball must be placed on the ground behind the try line then there is the conversion which is kicked from within the field of play ajacent to where the try is scored. There are penalties for playing the ball forward or head high tackles among other plays that call for a penalty which either result in a scrum or if the team that is awared the penalty can kick for goal. There are alot of rules in the game but thats the basics covered. Watch and enjoy!!!

The ball has to be put down with pressure in the "end zone" so like he has to physically dot the ball down order for it to be a try...it doesn't matter if he is behind the try line when he scores...but his feet/body cannot be on the touchline while scoring as that is considered out of bounds

- A try is when the ball touches the ground past the try line - Anyone is alowed to pass, kick or run but sertain players are assined sertain roles , some have more roles than others - You are allowed to pass the ball to a teammate aslong as it does not go forward or it is a scrum for the other team - Cross licks are a other way of passing the ball to a teammate as it is not a forward - Not all players wear Scrum caps , its optional but it privides some protection againts traumas to the head like head to head collisions - More players wear gum guards to help againts concussion but for padding thats how far it goes - You cant stop the game ... but you can win possession via a penalty, free kick , scrums , lineouts or 22 meter drop outs - Rugby players aren't small ... some are huge like RG Snyman from the Springboks who towars at 2.07 m Love the vids ... keep up the good work

@@binjammin3076 im a rugby fan myself but nfl is much more dangerous because pretty much any unsafe tackle that you can imagine is actually legal, for example mid air tackles, tackles where u just jump into people head forward et cetera, also nfl players dont train for stamina, so they have much more power in a single action, on top of that they specialise in their positions as well, which leaves more time to train for example tackling if youre defense. data also shows that nfl players have many more injuries and also more fatal ones, especially towards the head and neck area.

I'm from new Zealand which is where bauden barrett is also from and he is what we call a first five which has the role of kicking the try conversion when a try is scored. The way a try is scored is the ball must touch the area anywhere past the white line where the goal posts are setup. There is also no defensive, offensive or special teams in rugby they're all in the one team which stays on the field for the full eighty minutes of the game.

You can have players on a rugby team ranging anywhere from 5' 6" 183 lbs (All Black Aaron Smith) to 6' 7" 285 lbs (All Black Brodie Rettalick) and you are expected to be able to tackle everyone. On average, American football players only run around 1 mile per game and they only actually played for an average of 11 minutes whilst rugby players often cover 6 miles and play for a full 80 minutes. Rugby players run more, hit more and have to be mentally switched on for 69 more minutes than American Football players. NFL roles are more specialised, rugby players have to combine strength, speed, power and stamina.

I'll try to answer your questions: 1. Rugby is called footy in New Zealand and other places where it's the most popular sport, like Wales. 2. Play stops if the ball goes out of bounds, but it's thrown back in--it's called a lineout. It's sort of like a combination between passing the ball back in in basketball and a jump ball but up to 7 players per side can jump for the ball. 3. All players in rugby play both offense and defense. The play is pretty similar to American Football, sort of. The forwards (numbers 1 to 8), who are like linemen, do scrums, but are also expected to tackle and (nowadays) be able to run with the ball, while the backs (numbers 9 to 15) are expected to run, kick, pass, and tackle. 4. Beauden Barrett plays a lot of positions, but he's primarily a fly-half (number 10). It's arguably the most important position in rugby, since he directs the play. Fly-halves are like a combination of a point guard, a quarterback, a punter, and a field goal kicker. He's a bit unique though because he's also crazy fast and has sidesteps and other moves so he can run as well. (You should react to best rugby sidesteps) 5. No real breaks in play, unless there's a score, scrum, lineout, or penalty. But those happen often enough so usually they can take a breather. The pace of game can vary a lot though depending on where it's played. 6. You can only pass backwards, but you can also kick it forwards at any point. There are a lot of tactical kicks--as you've seen, you can punt it downfield for territory, and like punts, coffin corner kicks are the best. As you've also seen, you can "chip" the ball, like an onside kick, so your team can chase the ball down. 7. No helmets, but the tackling rules are a lot stricter to prevent brain damage and the like. 8. Players can also, under certain rules, take the ball away after a tackle. That's arguably the most important part of the game. 9. Tries (think touchdowns) only count if the ball itself is brought down under control in the "endzone." in fact, even if you're in the endzone, if someone strips the ball from you before you bring it down, you lose possession. 10. Rugby games are extremely varied--in some games, it's a slog, and no one scores except for kicks, and there are barely any long runs. Stereotypically, it's like that in Europe and South Africa. In other games, the pace is crazy fast and there's lots of speed and skill on display. Stereotypically, it's like that in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
