I have been one of those fans standing, waiting for the team bus. Usually there are around 80,000 fans waiting for the team bus. Real Madrid have won the Champion’s League 14 times. Every time they win they return to Madrid to celebrate with their fans and there are usually more than a million fans waiting to celebrate with them. They come from all over the world. You will never see anything better or bigger anywhere in the world

@@itotallycare their halfway done their working on the 360 screen and the finishing touches outside as their some panels left to install as for the grass yea its not in the best shape but they did said it will be better by next season theirs a couple of channel that dedicate themselves on the stadium but are in spanish so idk if you want to check them out i personally watch Maribel de Jesus channel.

@@itotallycare It seems you don't know what he is talking about....the new field would split into six parts and go down under the ground,being replaced by other parts coming up,etc.There are 12 levels of fields,switchable,mantained to temperature,humidity and led light, optimal for the grass to grow perfectly.

I’ve been a Philadelphia Eagles fan for almost 55 years. Die hard total insane fan. I’ve been Madridista for 30 years. An absolute card carrying shit talking everything revolves around Real fan! So the last 30 years have been filled with constant drama on Sundays, when both teams played. I love the Eagles more, but I cry for both! You’re missing out, if you are not a fan of footie. its different, the culture and how fans feel for the club its completely different from american sports fans. For a european, the club is his life and it's like political stand against other clubs and other fans. It's more fanatical and has a different feeling. Americans just want to have a good time, eat hot dogs, drink beer and hang out with friends. In europe going to a match its not like that at all, the energy is completely different, and sometimes you see a lot of violence with is pretty normal to see.

The pressure of playing for Real Madrid (pronounced 'ray-al'), and the demands fans place on those who play for Real, is something that Americans can't comprehend; because there isn't remotely this same level of pressure on players for any NFL, Baseball, or Basketball club anywhere in the US. Playing for Real is a big deal: and Real fans are probably the most demanding set of fans anywhere in the world.....or certainly in Europe.

I wish you could have seen the incredible party that took place in Madrid (and all of Spain of course) when Spain won the Soccer World Cup (I'm from another part of Spain, but I was in Madrid on vacation). The subway had stopped, but it was jam-packed with people who were JUMPING inside the train like crazy! People everywhere. Imagine all the parties you have ever been to in your whole life, add all the parties of all the people you know, and you will have a small portion of the super party we experienced that day. I'm not much of a soccer fan, but I had an amazing time that day. 💖

Oh, man..back in the 1970s, the CBS network here tried to show games in our previous First Division league (NASL). They ran ads and we hated it, but there weren't many of us then. Real football is bigger here now that there's been a couple of generations of US citizens that have played youth football. My daughter and son-in-law love it because it doesn't take 4 hours to play a game!

There is always ads ! On the sides (and actually in a lot of places during the game if you watch closely but you probably didn't see it but that is what the advertisers whant... you not seing it (but you are) so you are not agravated by it... seriously, so much money in it, of course they will do some new high end F1 kind of advertising)... back in the day it was the ads that where turning to show a little bit of all the brands, now it is done by "computer" to show the ads depending on the country/region/languages etc in real time

Tailgate parties are not a thing here in Europe. Some of the stadium parking lots are parking garages so due to the fire hazard that is not possible. Also some stadiums are in residential areas or in town centra's. We don't need cheerleaders to put on a show to make the game interesting, for us Europeans the game and the players are the show.

It's like a child show, very strange choreos and people don't put attention to them. I could feel embarrasing of be a "cheerleader" ha ha ha. And they sing national anthem in each game??? Why???? You're playing in your own country with same USA teams!. Ha ha ha and what is this obssesion with celebrities singing the national anthem? So strange. They always seems out of place with the "trying so hard sing". Put the official record and let the crowd sing!! In USA they need do each thing a show that involves dance, sing, ads and celebrities. This game lived up to it ,in The Champions League Quarter Finals ,First Leg in Madrid. It was a superb 3/3 Draw with some of the greatest goals of the season! "World's Best Football Fans// Ultras:Europe" shows the incredible passion of the fans with no violence. HIGHLY recommended and next month I enter my 8th decade:)

This video just popped on my feed. As a Real Madrid regular, we call this “La Busiana” (the bus arrival). Most people there don’t even get into the stadium, they just show up for this and then watch the game at home or a nearby bar, especially College kids who don’t have tickets but have free time. The stadium seats 80K but 200K show up for La Busiana.

If the second video is from 10 years ago in the Classico vs Barcelona I was in that crowd. It was my first game in Bernabeu and it was wild. The game ended 3-1 to Madrid. Madrid might not have the craziest fans in the stadium but they sure have the craziest ones welcoming the players bus

Many of the players record that moment from the bus and then upload it to Instagram, so you can notice what they are feeling. In that video the police do not allow the fans to approach, but other years they managed to be near the bus and hit them in order to encourage them and it was really brutal

Costa Rica stadium for Saprissa called “the cave”. The chanting section is above the guest teams locker room. At its peak volume you can’t hear anything and you see the room shaking from people jumping in the stands. You lose the game before it even starts.

This happens in Santiago Bernabeu thanks to its location. It's a 80.000 capacity stadium right in the middle of the city . Also, most of that people don't even have a ticket

Madrid doesn’t have ultras since the early 2010s when Florentino kicked them out of the stadium. I’m sure there are still some idiots around but ultras are not welcomed anymore.

Just a little bit of context: Real Madrid is like the LA Lakers of Football, 14 times Champions League winner, 32 La Liga, 20 Copas del Rey, 5 times world champion and the best club of the 20th century, that´s how massive it is. With that said, you should check one of the Champions League celebrations at Plaza Cibeles, the decima is quite special... Also worth mentioning Argentinian fans, there is simply no other place in the world with football fans like Argentina.

A few years ago, there were not fences between the bus and the fans, and the bus followed a different route. You could even hit and punch the bus 😂 I think they changed the route and started placing fences because a policeman fell from the horse in the arrival of RM vs Bayern semifinals of la decima Champions League edition. I was there 😊

I think Fan Marches are something you might enjoy ...... usually away fans gathering in a city where their team is playing and marching from the city centre to the football ground with singing, flares,. chants, banners ........ and terrifying the locals ! Its like an invading army.

The stadium holds up to 80K people plus it's located in the center, so many people comes to receive the team in very important games (once or twice a year) cos they might have time to go back home or to a pub to watch the game
