I swear to God every fan base that this guy talks talks about wants to be victimized… But if you put in perspective, there hasn’t been a lot of good about Washington over the last three decades. There is a lot to hate about this team, even when you’re not a fan of them… They are a bottom five most losing franchise since the turn of the millennia. The owners have been garbage, the coaches have been garbage, they haven’t found a quarterback. They do people dirty both on the field and off the field. Players don’t like playing for them, they almost ended Trent Williams life. There is a lot about this franchise… You shouldn’t feel like a victim, you should havegotten Snyder out of faster.. It’s not hate to be a critic of this terrible organization

@@tsmguxxi6559 What's your point? Look at the past 25 years of #1 overall QBs and tell me how many of them end up being the "generational talents" the talking heads make them out to be. If you remove Peyton Manning, the GOAT, then your best examples are Eli Manning, Matt Stafford, Cam Newton, and Jared Goff. None of the others have lived up to expectations, and as much as I love Goff, you could argue he hasn't either. All I'm saying is that the success rate is less than 20% over the past 25 years.

Steelers had a solid draft, but their team depends entirely on whether or not Russ cooks. If he does, they're a playoff team. If he doesn't, Justin Fields can't read a defense. If Fields starts enough games to give the Bears a 4th round pick, it'll be a high 4th. So on one hand, Pittsburgh did have a good draft. But on the other hand, it may not matter a lick until and unless they find a solid QB.

@@larrymcardle I agree. They’ll need solid QB play to be competitive in the AFC. But honestly the 2 qb’s they have in Russ and Justin are better than Kenny & Mitch. I would even say they’re better than Big Ben in his last year or two on the team. After the elbow injury Ben was never the same. As a fan I’m optimistic especially now that we’ll have a full season without Matt Canada. If Arthur Smith can be anything close to the coordinator he was with the Titans. I think the Steelers will have a good season.

I think denver has made some pretty solid moves to revamp that roster. If they hit with Nix being their guy then they should easily be a playoff team. They beat some really good teams last year but weirdly lost to some bad ones, with some some upgrades and minimal losses I see them being a 7-11 win team.

I'm from the Baton Rouge area and watched Joe Burrow at LSU. I've watched football for over 30 years and Joe Burrow is one of the best I've seen. Let me be clear, Patrick Mahomes is the best QB I've ever seen in my life, but Burrow is top notch and the 2nd best in the NFL today.

Why do a segment that Florio isn't prepared for and doesn't even know the names of the players past the first round other than Blake Corum? And some things Chris threw out there were just generic statements on guys that were picked: Rosengarten from the Ravens isn't particularly "pro-ready" since many people thought he'd go back for another year with his poor weight-distribution in pass pro, but the movement skills were really intriguing to the NFL. The Rams draft includes many questions for me and in that context it should be brought up that by many trading scales, the Rams moving up 13 spots in the 2nd round for a 2 next year + a 5 is one of the biggest overpays we've seen in the last decade, for a player that has some questions. Meanwhile, the Steelers, Packers, Bills and Eagles had tremendous drafts, but weren't even mentioned.

Florio is a clown with his Bears QB take. McMahon and Cutler were "franchise" QBs. They may not have been top 5 type QBs, but they were top 15 and managed the team. Offense was different in the 80's, the rules were not manipulated as they are now for passing.

Here's the recommendation if you guys are annoyed with the the choices that you guys make. Just both of you guys make a decision together and talk in a month or so and the things that you guys disagree on you guys then deviate and extend the program like that. Also just have more categories to talk about that way even though two people are talking about the same thing at least it can allow you guys to agree on things

Think it's pretty crappy to overlook the bills here. They didn't even have a first-round draft pick and still smashed the draft. They addressed every position group with top talent or at least serviceable depth. Probably the most underrated draft of any team

Florio picked the Commanders and then goes on to just name Jayden Daniel’s. He doesn’t know anything about McCaffrey as a WR. He knows nothing. He’s never watched any film on him. So basically his whole choice was because of Daniel’s. Florio is so mediocre and is such a fraud. How does Simms put up with this? Simms actually has knowledge on all these players and all these teams, how does he suffer through Florio the con-artist pretending he knows what he’s talking about?! It blows my mind

Daniels really reminds me of Randall Cunningham. An awesome, productive QB, when he was healthy. But Cunningham's last couple years in Philly, was injury after injury. And even in his best year when he went to the NFC championship game with the Vikings, he still got hurt for a few games that season. Daniels has to learn what Lamar Jackson learned. How to juke and minimize hits from defenders. If he does that, an injury free Randall Cunningham would turn the DC franchise into an instant competitor.

I like the bears as an improvement but they were pretty good last year, and you're banking on rookies in important positions. Due to that I don't really think you can say that. Just comparing that to the other teams in their own division I do expect them to be better but by how much with a rookie Caleb is the question. Meanwhile, the Vikings struggled last year with a QB carousel that should be fixed by JJ. JJ doesn't have to be as good as Kirk or Caleb, he just has to solidify that positions with Jefferson and Hock and that will go a long way for that team. GB improved the defense in the drat and have another year of Jordan Love, I think their improvement is larger than the Bears improvements. Finally, the Lions had the offense, just could stop anyone throwing on them, and brought in DJ Reader and a completely new CB room.

The pain from admitting the Commanders had a good draft was worth it. I totally echo the team I cheer for had been a cluster F under Snyder but that is gone, and it appears that the new ownership group is redeeming us fans in the DCA and I couldn't be happier. I personally hope that Snyder gets served by the justice system. Don't condemn the current team I think in 25 we will have a great team but our defense will be our strength this year in 24'.

A 5'9" CB who weighs 180 on his best day is gonna get pushed around in the NFL not to mention he doesn't have height advantage for jump balls or reach.
