Instead of it’s tricky I would use close quarters because if you’re dangling your way to the net it would be more useful than its tricky

Honestly I think the sniper build is the best in the game for a few reasons. 1: you have a pretty good shot especially with the zone ability you choose. 2: you can bump up your body checking and strength so you can throw your weight around and not be the weakest on the ice. 3: you can also get your speed up pretty high and your deking since you can take down your fighting and discipline stats. Overall you have a good shot, good speed, good strength, good deking, and when you throw in your zone and superstar abilities your basically unstoppable.

I wish the game was even a fraction as good as these breakdown videos. EA used a shooter video game engine for a hockey game and yah it looks slightly better but the physics and gameplay are still trash.

puck on a string makes it easier to not lose it when u get bumped i dont thin the deking attribute effecfts bumps

Ankle breaker no lol elite edges would be infinitely better. Puck on a string although would help is unnecessary and other abilities to help with the builds weaknesses would be more useful. It’s tricky is also totally useless and unnecessary.

You are right Nasher. Elite edges of the best offensive perks. But Truculence is probably the best defensive perk in the game. U can hit every build with it

I would like to point out you are wrong on one thing for sure, back in the early days of eashl you could customize your guy a whole lot more. You work your way up from a rookie all the way up to legend cards and could build your guy from the ground up

Drop your acceleration, that stat is useless. I mean, acceleration is important but what I'm saying is boosting it will not change anything, no difference 83 and up. I recommend dropping it to 83 and adding to shot and puck control. Give it a try.
