Zegras shouldn't be on this list unless the list consists of the stat sheet. Dude has actually started to play more defense and moves the puck around. Becoming more of a team player and less of a flashy player is much more beneficial.

You people need to stop with the narative that Zegras is having a bad start of the season. Sure, points arent there but his overall game is and if he just keeps playing like this the points will come. If you intend to make statements like this you should watch at least a game of two. You will be suprised, Ducks are actually good this year.

100% agree with this. Too many times people see points = success. Zegras' game has done a complete 180 this year for the better.

McD and Drai are still putting up star numbers, but it's such a far cry from the game breaking play we've come to expect from them, and the team as a whole has relied on that game breaking so much that without it, they are in a death spiral... Skinner's apparent regression and McD and Drai being fairly average is probably the only issues with the team that weren't already issues last season.

This video proves that people dont actually watch ducks games and just look at stats. Zegras has been playing some of his best hockey the past few weeks. Really cleaned up his defensive play, and has been working hard with the team. Just some unfortunate puck luck for him. He will get scoring soon enough.

@TJ37961 You can see it in his body language that something is seriously wrong with that guy. Still butthurt about being traded out of Florida? Doesn't want to play here? I don't know what his deal is but he is just miserable to watch. Forcing dumb passes, not taking shots when he's got a wide open lane, backchecking like he shit his pants. You don't just forget how to play hockey. And his 115 point season was a bit of an outlier, in reality he's a 60-70 point guy and he is being grossly overpaid. Maybe the money would make sense if he stayed in Florida with the same coach and linemates (minus Duclair) but there will be growing pains with a new team but I'm not sure what the answer is woth Huberdeau. Perplexing and frustrating

Honorable Mention would be Jake Debrusk. The Bruins signed a big contract for him and he only has 1 goal and a couple assists. He should be contributing a little more. I have an idea for content. What if you did a video about players that should be called up to their parent club. The Blues should be calling up Adam Gaudette and the Belleville Sens should be calling up Mads Sogaard

wow your delusional, if you didn’t know San Jose gave karlsson full permission to go all out last year n not worry about really anything but offense bc they wanted him to boost his trade value.. so obviously he’s not going to reach the same numbers as last year, this was said well before he was traded to pit.. but I’m guessing you didn’t know about that durgoof
