I chose the Canes broadcast because I can't listen to Jack, but this color guy is almost identical to the Avs color guy in both voice and homerism. There was a penalty on Aho in the 2nd period where he clearly stuck his skate out and tripped a Boston player. This guy was complaining about the call and said the exact same thing about losing his footing.

Falling is not always tripping. These guys do these crazy moves fall and draw phantom penalty.

anyone else notice pastrnak is carrying the puck more and longer lately ? in the past, he would dish it off quickly and look to hide for his shot. the defenses were better able to shut him down when he was always looking to get open. now he is mixing it up and becoming even more dangerous because he is a very good offensive zone passer. of they play pastrnak, someone is open. if they leave him alone, like tonight, he scores. and he still looks for his shot when he gets open.

He is miles better with the puck than he was when he entered the league. Playing with Marchand and Bergeron did wonders for his game on both sides of the ice

Don't forget. Their kryptonite is the Rangers this year. Rangers have owned them all year long (they swept the Bruins. Won all 4 games this season. Outscored them 14-7)

I don't see the Bruins in finals. Btw the Bruins odds to win the cup are only +900. That's like the 4th highest in the east Conference.

@Siksdev this was supposed to be a bridge year for Boston, because going all in last year had them so tight against the cap that they had to sign people at the minimum and elevate some rookies just to fill out their roster. Just the fact that they're in the conversation at all makes me happy.

@@LogjammerDbaggagecling-qr5ds but like I said....Boston looks like they're facing Tampa first round. Tampa has only lost like 3 times since the deadline. So Tampa could realistically upset the Bruins. That's why first is so important in the east this year. You don't gotta face Tampa first round.

I was in the stands for this one. Bruins’ defense completely shutdown everything the Hurricanes tried on the attack. Canes fans headed to the exits in large numbers with 9 minutes still remaining in the 3rd period.

Rangers swept the Bruins this year. They won all 4 games. Outscoring them 14-7. The Rangers also beat the canes most games this season too bud. They swept the Bruins, Colorado, Dallas etc. I'd be way more worried about NY over Carolina if you're Boston. NY is 22-5-1 in their recent games lmao. Carolina has been sleepy recently the last little bit

Sometimes they don't include the game-winning goal, and yet the time constraints allow the highlight reel to include stuff like the lengthy sequence that ended the game. It's confusing! 🤔

I was at this game. There was an excess amount of traffic near the arena this evening. I didn’t reach my seats until about 10 minutes into the first period. I was very surprised to see how many Hurricanes fans left early, though. With about nine minutes remaining in the 3rd period, a LOT of Canes fans headed for the exits - the score was 3-1 at the time.

the problem there is that if the ref misses the trip, as he did, then goalie interference is a possibility. the Bs could have gotten screwed twice on the same play. it was a possibility, but marchand's foot knocked in a loose puck. marchand didn't create the loose puck, but you never know what the refs are gonna do -- especially if they are dialed into the league offices.

I went to this game and got so emotional because my grandpa who passed away of cancer in 2020 was a huge bruins fan and I wished he was siting right next to me during that game and I thought I was going cry after the empty net goal and I just gave him a high five from ground to heaven

Карлов сегодня не узнать. 2 периода куи валяли, проснулись только в 3-м и за счёт навала попытались что то исправить. Будем надеяться что они этот матч провели на расслабоне, даже Петрухе выходной дали.

The Bruins had an awesome first period, then played the score. This has NEVER been a winning formula. Glad for the win against a good team, but 1 great period isn't gonna do it in the playoffs.

As a Rangers fan, I was actually rooting for Carolina, Because the only team I'm afraid of, in the playoffs is the Lightning, And if Boston catches the Rangers in the standings, the Rangers will play Tampa, if the rangers finish ahead of Boston, they will avoid Tampa till Eastern conference finals, If they both get there

I also thought the canes goal would be called back. Honestly though...Swayman could have recovered, I guess he was expecting the puck out from back of the net sooner. Unbiased opinion, I'm a Bruins fan.
