I was at the game, great atmosphere in a 5000 seat arena, that's for sure. Montreal was all over yotes in the first but didn't capitalise on the scoreboard. Yotes outworked them in the second and Habs lost a goal to offside. Third period was back and forth and yotes capitalised on special teams and Habs didn't. Hey, we almost tied it right at the end. Close game from two young rebuilding teams. Go Habs Go !!

Even thought the Coyotes arena situation is very tumultuous right now, their jersey's are straight FIRE. The Kachina logo is one of the best in the NHL currently. I'm not usually a fan of black jersey's but Arizona did a great job with theirs. Logan Cooley is a budding superstar, great pass to Nick Schmaltz on the GWG.

It’s incredible how one tight loss where we spent half the game on the pk for no reason causes everyone to flip out again.

I couldn't force myself to watch to full game. I tried, really did. But man, PP after PP after PP, with two teams that are below average in that department... Absolutely no flow. Also 1 Coyote and 3 Habs penalties were for nothing. Total phantom calls on almost half of the penalties; it make the product even harder to watch honestly. Also I know they can't do better, but damn, we can't hear a single fan in that tiny place. Still, 'Yotes absolutely deserved their W, and I hope that despite everything going on, that it's a team that will give some playoff hockey some of the most loyal fans in professional sport, period. To those passing through the area for work or wtv, I REALLY recommend catching on of their game. There are always good seats available last minutes for pocket change (compared to N-Eastern teams). Not only that, but if you're with a bunch of guys there will probably be a row with a the seat you need. Old school 'Yotes fans are in love with the sport first most of the time, and are a pleasure each time. Imagine the typical Leafs fan (i.e. insane/delusional people), well 'Yotes fans are the exact opposite. If only for them I hope that the team will find a new home in the area. Awesome gals everywhere too, as passionated for the sport as anyone else, and... You know ;) So again, it's like the anti-Toronto experience :D Experience it while it's there guys! BTW, props to the "Coyotes' Den" bar to keep the party going (walking distance from "stadium").

1- funny how sportsnet dislikes MTL haahha 2- its weird to me that arenas are allowed to play loud sound effects when a penalty kill is over (in COL, or in this game right here).. it must sometimes somehow distract players (goalies..) and play a part in the game, like we saw in this one, no? idk..

I hate montreal but that goal called back is such nonsense the NHL needs to stop this offside review nonsense. If you have to watch it frame by frame to see that it was offside then it's not egregious enough that it had anything to do with the play, there's nothing unfair about the goal counting it should count.

that penalty shot play was how i won the league championship circa 1982 for the low tor little rangers....then a few years later my father moves us to a new house where the school district didn't have a hockey program. i ended up joining the army, got poisoned by fort McClellan and am now on full disability....oh btw....he also cancelled his 2 million dollar life-insurance policy AFTER he was diagnosed with cancer. he sold life-insurance for a living.
