Matthews could have easily had 2 tonight…keeper won the battle…OV may need to play well into his 40’s to beat gretzkys record, UNLESS he gets those one timers to go on the PP from the Brett Hull spot…love OV but other than the big hit on McCabe he was very slow and practically invisible 2nite. Good bounce back game from Woll.

@@stevendchuI would argue that in this episode, 77 C has started the change, followed by LW 8 both reckless moves considering the game was in transition due to poor LD play and poor position in the center ice by WSH RW 17. The opposite team TOR clearly caught the opponent off guard. But blaming one player for the whole episode is absurd

Honestly, the Leafs look like what you'd expect a 5th seed in the east to look like, I think based on how tough the Atlantic division is, they're a underdog in the 1st round no matter who they get which is either Bruins/Panthers. An argument can be made that says it's better if Tampa passes the Leafs and the Leafs take the #1 wild card spot instead.

I counted 3 back-checks in 3 seconds during a Caps drive in the first period. Canadians cheat (just watch Tancredi's head stomp on Lloyd during the Olympics). Canadian officials are biased (Tancredi would have not only been red-carded, but likely faced assault charges in the US). Let's face it, Canadian hockey fans spell "the Allmighty" differently than the rest of the world... we say "God, Allah, YHVH, Jesus, etc...". They spell their deity GRETSKY. And the fact that a mere human mortal is challenging their "God" makes the officials comfortable in their dereliction of duty to their job. So sick of the officiating.
