after a 3-0, we need 1 forward to play offensive defense more often. SC Habs was designed like that where Danault was 1 of the strongest shut down centers, and with lehky byron gally we had very aggressive speedy forecheck. we need that style back, ruthless endless aggressive speedy forecheck and shutdown hockey

I criticized Martin for putting him down to 3rd line last game. Definitely, the first two lines suit him better, but I get that sometimes it is best to give him some rest. Especially from some of the most tough defensemen in the league. Also, try to keep him healthy and get used to the NHL. Imagine what a great player he can become in 3-5 years if he doesn't struggle with injuries. Every guy gets stronger and smarter from his teenage years - And he is a solid and smart player already.

when u cant notch a goal vs the goalie, u notch an empty netter from 200ft. GG habs played well, lotta great offensive attack. defense still weak, we cant blow 3-0 leads and almost lose it in final few minutes. happens way to often to us. 3-0 lead means 1 forward needs to help secure victory by leaning back to help play as a defensive forward for remainder of game. at 3-0 we dont need more goals, we need defensive shutdown n full control in our dzone. considering our young backend, protecting the lead is more important than scoring more goals. GG seeing great improvement all around great victory. Lets even up the series vs Kings and then end 2023 at bell center vs Preds b4 starting our end of year road trip GHG!!
