Vasi is a brick wall, don't count Tampa out, with him in goal in crucial games, he's the one you want, yrs from now there'll be talk of Vasi being the best goalie of all time, one the best for sure.

Стоял хорошо, третья шайба точно его была...но не смог, порой нестабильно играет, но мне нравится этот кипер. Защитники бы работали как надо счёт был бы другой.

Legit question: should Carolina be confident if they get the islanders in the first round? Isles have the better goalie (much better), and a team built for heavy playoff hockey. Carolina since the Raanta and Svechnikov injuries have looked very mediocre.

Does the two NHL teams, the Tampa Bay Lightning (which they belong in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference) and the Carolina Hurricanes (which they belong in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference) have Southern roots? Did they play just two nights ago?

I agree, i see comments saying it had playoffs intensity, and i would say otherwise. It was nowhere near the Rangers vs Boston, nor the Sens vs Isles of late. Seems also the Canes are still experimenting with their lines a bit to find the best formula without Svechnikov, Noesen not coming back in the 3rd was also detrimental (not that he was having a particularly strong game but still, mixed up the lines even further) and Kotchekov should definitely not allow such a goal as the first one if he wants to have a chance at starting come play off time, cause although it's a play the Bolts've been working on that very morning, it's pretty clear Stamkos kinda half-missed it there and was very amused the puck still went in. That being said, the Lightning are finally getting back on their strength at mitigating the opponent's chances, giving them less opportunities and/or much more difficult ones to score on. And my oh my, Brayden Point, what an amazing crowd-pleasing player.

They need better play offensively (wristers from outside the faceoff circle into the goalie’s chest protector aren’t serious scoring chances.) They need better power play-they suck at it. They need better coaching. And they need a GM who makes moves before the deadline to improve the team-not just add more filler to the team. And yes: the goaltending is killing them.

Sure it was a shutout thanks only to Vassey, the D for Tampa would have been shaking in their boots. Carolina's O just had an off night.
