Makar, Kuch, MacKinnon, Rantanen, Matthews are just some players that are way ahead of Drai. Im an Oiler and if we can get some value for Drai we should trade him. Sure, this was a great highlight play from him. But there are way better players that McDavid could set up instead of Drai tbh.

What a Ridiculously FUN game this was to watch!! Congrats on 300 Goals Kaner and NUUUUGE with the 5 point night... go get that 100th point RNH!! Oilers PP is just TOO Deadly this year. McDavid unselfish all night... chose to pass instead of scoring goals himself.

The last time was in 1990 - and the Edmonton Oilers won their fifth Lord Stanley's Cup on Thursday May 24th, 1990 - and even then they won it in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America. Then they brought it "home". The closest in recent times was in the Stanley Cup finals against the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006!

I seriously think Nuge might have the most accurate shot on the team. McDavid's is also great, but it sure feels like Nuge just NEVER misses when he's alone with a goalie. The snipe at 2:25 is just the latest example, but he does that a lot. His ability to find 4-square-inch holes is ridiculous.

After watching the first highlight, I had a feeling that was going to be a goal. And it was. If you're a defender, stop puck watching and start body watching. That Quick save should be next week's instalment of Steve's Paddle Save Emporium. Nice response on the power play after giving up a SHG just seconds earlier. The defence from both teams was sloppy in this one. A lot of turnovers that led to goals.

I love how hi-flying our offence is, but if im being honest these early goals and high scoring games dont make me feel confident for playoffs. Defense goes up and goals come at a premium. They need to hunk down on D if they wanna go the distance.

With this win the Oilers now hold the tiebreaker against Vegas (I checked the season series between Edmonton and Vegas) if both teams are tied at the end of the season for first place in this Division, then the Oilers will win the Division. Just something for all of you to think about as the season winds down to a close.

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly count your eggs before they're in the pudding just yet. You still got 2 games against the Kings and another against the Avalanche. 4 more games between crap teams with the Sharks and Ducks. The Oilers, up to this point have had the VGK number. You're a good team no doubt about that, BUT you're still 3 points behind the Golden Knights AND you still have to get past LA twice, which is no easy task. Most importantly, you haven't clinched a playoff spot, so with that said the VGK will clinch tomorrow (Thursday) against the Sharks. and I will be there!
