As a Pens Fan I look at how the Oilers played tonights game. A young, fast, agressive team with shoot-first-mentality. And then I remember that the Penguins used to be like that 10 years ago. The Cup window has closed and we're late with the rebuild. GG Oilers.

What a game!!!! That's the kind of result this team is capable go getting with a full 60-minute effort from start to finish! Pickard looked excellent, new D pairs worked out, boys were shooting a lot more and it paid off. Almost everything went our way tonight! Big dub, now a tough test in Boston awaits. Go Oilers!!!! great game by Oiler's first and third lines and poor game by Oiler's second line )) 😇The problem the coach faces is that instead of having top six players, he actually only has four top players: McDavid, Hyman, Draisaitl and Nudgen-Hopkins.😇 Kane is NOT top 6, 3-d liner player at best. I'd love to have Guentzel on my Rangers.......FINALLY scoring for us instead of against us(which I've become very very tiresome of over the years!😄😄). And the Rangers have also been linked to rumors of trading for Frank Vatrano & Adam Henrique from the Ducks AND possibly even Jordan Eberle from the Kraken too!!!!😱😱😱 This is shaping up to be a very exciting trade deadline day on Friday!! I can't wait. There's going to be a lot of movement going on I think.

Why are fans surprised that Pittsburgh is struggling? They’ve kept their older core and don’t have draft picks and prospects since they’ve won Stanley Cups. Detroit went through this and it’s not add water instant rebuild. If any Pittsburgh fan is upset at a slow decline to rebuild, give up your three Stanley Cups. There is a price to pay for winning.

the Oilers were class not the run up the score in the 3rd period...they knew the Pens are horrible and could have easily scored 10 goals. McDavid hardly celebrated on his goal in the 3rd period

great win for the oilers. i feel bad for crosby, though. idk if he wants to stay on the pens for his entire career, but it’s a waste, imo. he’s still so good and they’re just preventing him from potentially getting another cup. not saying i’d necessarily want him to go somewhere else to play, but if it allows him to win one more championship…

Why wouldn't he? Contract is up at the end of next season. He Turns 37 this summer. Has made his money, won his cups. He probably only has a couple years left in his career after that. Why wouldn't he just finish sign another 1 or 2 year contract after and finish off his career there? What's left to play for in his career?

The proper way to cover the post is to STAND UP with the pad against it. These days the goalies are on their knees, leaving space for shooters to hit. When the goalies stood up, there used to be few wraparound goals; a step or two would get them from one post to the other; these days the goalies flop and slide from one side to the other, so there are wraparounds galore. Where's Bernie Parent now that we need him?

The Penalty shot and interfere call is a bit of a joke this season. Unless its truly a hook, slash or a trip it shouldn't be called. Its definitely not a call elsewhere in plays and coverage plays when the puck is in possession when a stick is tapped, lifted, when there are a couple light taps through the zone etc.

Jack Michaels is a melodramatic goof…that phoney switch he hits when things ramp up, is SO contrived. I’m in my mid-‘60’s & don’t require some WWE call. He also loves to hear himself, going off on his tangents, forgetting about calling the game. This is especially painful when it’s strictly radio… 👎🏻

Am I crazy or are the refs betting on these games? Weak penalty shot against the oilers, and Pittsburgh does an arguably worse play on Kane and no penalty shot? I shouldn’t be saying the refs are doing this on purpose, I think they just honestly suck. Huge problem all across the league.

For all those making the comment Oilers will win the cup, Easy Now! Oilers finish the season in Colorado. mile high city, 2 back to backs, 5 games in 7 days. Going to go into the first round exhausted with little prep-time. Anything can happen in the playoffs and the league schedule set them up for a tough 1st round no matter who they play. And if it started today it would be against the Golden Knights. 1st round will be the toughest for them. Gotta get out of that first.

я вот думаю (да этот матч провальный) но в остальных пингвины играют нормально и игра есть и в пас , и индивидуально могут, чего блин не хватает? понять не могу

@@user-zy2jc9kp8d не хватает молодых игроков. Пора и с Малкиным прощаться и ещё одного деда дорогого взяли на этот сезон,а надо уже пестраивать команду.Как Вашингтон начал делать,прощаютсчя со старыми,оставят одного Овечкина доигрывать,а далее перестройка.
