Oilers were 5-12-1 at one point. Oilers are now 19-15-1. I’d say that’s pretty damn impressive.

McDavid is demonstrably better than hockey player I've ever seen and this game is a prime example of it. I honestly think he's peerless. Who else in hockey history could have had the game McDavid just did? I'm not talking 1G/4A either, I mean the absolute finesse and sorcery he displayed. The bag of skills is seemingly bottomless, and he made the Flyers D look absolutely silly in a myriad of ways. We're watching peak talent peak, and it's amazing to witness.

I agree with you McDavid amazing , but I saw Lemieux did that many time. Orr, Lemieux , McDavid, Bure Gretzky: the most dominant players I ve seen. ( Bure dis not have the same talent to create and pass). McDavid still need to do better in playoff when the face elimination. I did not found a way yet to make his team win when the game get tighter and tougher in playoff.

And to think people were knocking the coaching change. One 8-game winning streak under Knoblauch and this one's at six now!! This turnaround after the start we had has been incredible! As for the game tonight, it was excellent and the boys did a great job bouncing back in the third after a sluggish second period! Hopefully the streak goes to seven against Ottawa! Go Oilers!!! And congrats to the captain on reaching the 900 mark for career points!

Classic performance from McDavid. Speed and agility kills. The goaltending situation has stabilized with Skinner with another good game. 6 in row win streak, I swear this team will give me a heart attack🤣🤣🤣🤣

Speed, agility, awareness, touch on his passes.. pretty much everything you can think of. I'm a Canes fan but when he is healthy this team is scary because they have goal scorers and he can work his magic to find them an open look almost whenever he wants.

Even though I'm a Red wings fan for life I think Connor McDavid is one of the most deserved players in the league that deserves a Stanley cup. There's no one in the way that deserves it more then him. Congratulations on your 900th career goal

McDavid is now exactly 1.5 points per game in his career and it's only going up. For reference Crosby is 1.26 and his ppg hasn't gone much down since his prime. Insane.

I'm a Leafs fan but the Oilers come a close second. Looking at the Oilers play, I hate to say this but, I find the Oilers have a much better chance to win the cup then the Leafs. Look at Connor McDavid, who in my eyes is the best all round and the most unselfish player in the league. Lets face it, they are a fantastic team.

Why would you put the two best players, who are both scorers and play makers, on the same line? Wouldn't it be smarter to put them on separate lines to create more depth scoring? Drai, Mcleod, and Foegele have wicked chemistry, and Mcleod has been scoring more since they've been line mates.

Look - any reasonable analysis of this game credits the Oilers (McDavid/Draisaitil) offense for this W. But, one should watch the lack of effort on the backcheck on both of of the Flyers goals. This lack of effort/care on the defensive side will once again decide whether they make the playoffs and if they have any success in the playoffs. Until they give a crap about defense they will NOT win the Cup.

We can all read (and hear) it's an impressive win streak. No I'm a capitals fan. It's humorous how quickly everyone jumps back on the wagon. They had a pretty long losing streak to start the season if you recall? I just don't like the organization. They have won the draft lottery more times in the last decade than they have playoff series. Poorly managed. Great players though.

Went Flyers vs Oilers game yesterday, made a sign that says “flyers win Trudeau resigns”. Was told my sign was ok, than before puck drop security took away my sign and threatened to kick me out of arena. Oiler fans around me were upset with security, it was a fun sign that was a joke. Freedom of expression is gone in Canada. It was a joke fun sign … never again going to go to a hockey game … thinking of hiring a constitutional lawyer cause wtf Canada!!

Spoke to a lawyer and charter of rights doesn’t stop for corporations….which means corporations, private place which technically rogers place is part public as it’s tax payer funded but charter rights trumps all
