As a Blackhawks' fan, I'm watching all these highlights. Had a Red Wing's fan in the locker room tell me, "Meh," about Kane. Kane says he feels fantastic after his hip surgery and is going to be invaluable this year for the Wings. I also am watching DeBrincat. Good luck, WIngs.

Man, can Husso stop any pucks? Seems like Wings have to score 5 or 6 goals every night to even have a chance to win.

Part of that is on the guys in front.... Husso has to be better but the five guys in front of him need to control the zone and clear the puck,not to mention that the breakaway shorthanded goal cannot happen and was the killer against the Sharks. Tighten the defense and Husso will look better.

And which goals are now his fault? You little fans should learn some hockey. I mean Wings give up shorthanded breakaways or even two guys will block the view from the goaltender. Then you expect them to make save. What next? Blindfolded? reason why Wings have to score 5 or 6 goals is because their TEAM defence acts like four year old. Horrible horrible turnovers and that happy-go-lucky attitude.

@markiv2942 Husso isn't a starter, and his career is indicative of this aside from one season with the Blues. I'm sure you made excuses for Jack Campbell as well

Wings offense is talented and deep. They should be scoring 3+ a game regardless. But yeah defense and goaltending are weak and will be at least another year before that's addressed.

Another great game of hockey. Both teams played well. I enjoyed how the Wings came back in the third period to win. I've become a Seider fan and wish him every success.

He won't ever be a full time Wing unless he stops clutching and reaching in the D zone. Poke and hope is what Zetterberg used to call it. Only 10 minutes of ice time tonight with 11 forwards. He should be around 15-16, but he's not trusted by the coaches.

He's a middle 6 forward at best in the NHL, if he produces he will get 2nd line minuets but don't hold your breathe if he can't. People hate hearing him be referred to as a depth player but it's the truth as of right now in his development.

У Детройта за всю историю было всего три хороших вратаря: Савчук, Вернон и Гашек. А после выхода Осгуда на пенсию, вратарский вопрос стоит на каком-то фундаментальном уровне, ибо походу у Красных Крыльев даже тренерского штаба вратарей нет. И все киперы начинают страшно выпаться уже на второй сезон.

На последних драфтах Айзерман взял двух очень перспективных гиперов - Коссу (в 21 году) и Огастина (на драфте 23-го года). Надо следить за их прогрессом и надеяться, что кто-то из них через некоторое время закроет вратарскую позицию на долгие годы.

@@user-xz3fy4kw5o Одно дело взять голкипера на драфте, другое дело натаскать его для игры в основе. Косса сейчас максимум тянет на запасника фарм-команды, в 10 матчах всего 3 победы с 3.03 пропущенными за игру. В основной команде тоже всё грустно, "нижний угол Хюссо" скоро станет термином, а тренера вратарей, что-то ничего не хотят с этим углом делать и финн продолжает пропускать под ловушкой.

Lol, Kane looks like doodoo. That effort he puts in on the shorty that DET gives up is embarrassing. He did that all season long in CHI last year, and carried it into NYR as well. Have fun, Detroiters.
