@@Frosty-px1yq I mean legit, there's no world where a cup awarded prior to expansion can be equally compared to one post expansion. Not only would it be similar to comparing grey cup wins as equal to NFL wins, but prior to expansion, the Canadian teams had a huge competitive advantage with the rule giving teams priority for signing prospects within a distance to them. I mean, didn't it seem suspicious that Mtl, Tor, and Det had basically all the championships?

The most ironic thing about this list is the 2nd most winning team in NHL history hasn't won a Stanley Cup in 57 years. This is also the longest Cup drought in NHL history ... going for the big 60 ... Diamond Jubilee. Oh, this from the richest team in the NHL.

Maroons were a different team before the NHL .. Stanley cup also was around before the NHL.. teams would play for it and travel was a much bigger deal.. such as Dawson City.. part of journey for the cup was dog sled”..

Original Senators relocated to STL for a year in 1934. Eagles folded too. All cups were won by Senators, so dumb they listed team as Eagle's. Lol. Sens fan here

@@NewRandomRiver Agreed. If they are going to include now-defunct teams like the Montreal Maroons, then they should include all defunct teams that have ever won the Stanley Cup. I just mentioned Victoria as my personal favorite among them, because most of their final roster became the initial roster for my team, which was originally called the Detroit Cougars before a few name changes ultimately made them the Red Wings.
