Good game I enjoyed watching I like how it’s relatively recent

This was a really good hockey game! Some hockey games I find more relaxing than exciting, but this game had great puck movement and intensity, and a season opener at that! I like how we can use hindsight, looking back now. The Devils have a really good team, and the Flyers are hovering around .500. It often is a small margin between an average team and a good one at the NHL level. I was impressed my Jack Hughes abilities and he really is having a breakout year as a goal scorer this season. Konecny looked good too! I was happy to not see any fighting in this game; for a long time I have thought that hockey is such a great game that it doesn't need fighting, if you want fighting watch another sport lol. I never believed that fighting was necessary in hockey, because these are adults, not kids, and football, as well as basketball-yes, there is plenty of physicality in basketball lol-do not tolerate fighting. I hope one day they treat fighting like they do in other major sports. I'm just not impressed hearing about guys like Nicolas Deslaurier just itching to fight, glad we're not in the 1990's anymore, some of those guys had like 300 penalities in minutes lol.
