The stars also had 4 straight games where the Robo-Hintz-Pavelski line score in the first 75 seconds of the game, which is an NHL record. The Stars are on a 7 game win streak, I which they played some of the best offensive teams in the league, and have let in 9 goals in those games. Roope has 11 goals in his last 11 games after having no goals in his first 11 games.

Robert Bortuzzo had a heroic shift for the Blues at Florida Panthers. Imagine going to OT, then having to kill a penalty ... and then your stick breaks. Bortz put his body on the line blocking shots and doing everything/anything he could. He's never going to get a Norris, but he's an unsung guy who deserves a moment in the sun for such an outstanding effort. Hopefully it makes it on next week's video.

He was he last defender as one of Calgary’s players had a breakaway and he was back skating , caught an edge , and fell giving Calgary’s player the full breakaway, he beats Lehner and the puck just trickling across the goal line but Coghlan had gotten back up, skated back down the ice and got his stick on it and stopped it from crossing the line. That one is almost both a Dang it AND a hat pick because the dang it is him falling down, the hat pick is him not giving up , getting back up, and saving the puck from crossing the line 👍🏼

I disagree with Steve on the hits thing. Back in the 70's (as much as I can remember. I was a little kid) 80's, and 90's if you took a hit like that you took the guys number and tried to give him a bigger hit. As a former player who played at a high level and a life long fan, I feel that the body check is fading due to getting jumped if you lay a good hard one on someone.

Absolutely agree that the Raddysh goal is worthy of a hat pick. But we just skipped over the detail that he got his first goal (and a beauty at that) shorthanded!? Shorthanded goals are tough to come by for even the best veteran players. That was special.

My favorite pick of the week would be the Canucks vs Kings. The whole game was just a whole new team without Benning and Green. Also, Boeser’s assist on Miller’s goal was absolutely perfect and the game made for Demko’s first shutout of the season. Great team effort.
