This was an amazing game to watch, I'm happy with the outcome, it shows that both teams pushed themselves hard the whole game, it was close but I am very proud of the Habs for coming back and winning this :) Everyone knows Toronto is a tough team. Even if it is just the pre-season I think this shows the teams capability to win games is there and they just gotta keep working on getting better. Jake Allen isn't terrible, he needs to be good if we have a chance at having a good season however!

putting AM on the PK is a good move. Because it shows one of his weaknesses. He is a straight skater and glider but he doesnt move his feet quick enough. on the PK you get killed by every PP unit when you glide.

Matthews is by far the most overrated player in the league. He’s a liability and the fact they didn’t ship him elsewhere in the offseason along with Tavares and marner AND keefe tells me they will never win a cup, let alone another playoff series ever. 1967

@@shoresy4084 in what way is he overrated? Honestly. Scored 40 in a down year after scoring 60 the year before while also being sound defensively with a +31 and the most blocked shots by a forward in the league last season. He is a top 5 forward in the league. But yeah sure is overrated in the preseason.

the first "this feels familiar" feeling of the year... playing a minor league team that they beat with their minor leaguers, but now with the regulars in they think they are free and clear, start coasting and a far lesser team takes advantage costing the leafs a point... i know it is only pre season, but this better get fixed asap

Yep, that's it!!! Keep that up, insisting that the Habs (or anyone the Leafs play for that matter) are a "far lesser team". Can you not see that that's the entire problem right there in a nutshell !!??!!?? The 'core four' have always been told they're elite, and better than everyone else. So they play like they feel entitled to win.

It happened again lmao... Honestly though, Habs were getting absolutely tormented in the first 2 periods. Kirby Dach pretty much kept the team in the game the whole way through. 3rd period, completely different team. I thought Mailloux had a tough game and then was dominant which was really encouraging seeing him learn on the fly. And then Caufield and Suzuki who were pretty silent most of the game came up clutch when it mattered most... It's just preseason, but I loved the fact this team never gave up.

Tormented??? Suzuki silent? He had 2 assists at that point. Try watching the game with your eyes open.
