How to work with my video lessons? At first watch it and repeat all Russian sentences out loud and record yourself to check your pronunciation. After watching put down all sentences you can remember. Watch the video again in 5-6 hours and correct the mistakes in your sentences if you have any. Do the homework that I usually give at the end of each lesson. Watch the video again in 2 days and make your own examples with the patterns used.

Спасибо большое. Could you explain why in Nominativ not ничто is used? Is it because you typically use double negation and after or before ни you always have to use Genitiv? And in general when do you use ничто which obviously exists? Cпасибо за этого отличного видео и твоего ответа. Кристиан

Yes, ничто obviously exists and it is Nominative case, but look at the meaning: ничто means "zero" or "nothingness". It is used to emphasize insignificance, like: Этот человек - ничто, ноль, пустое место. In other contexts ничто sound irrelevant or exaggerated.

Я очень рада! Итак: Я никого не знаю НА этой встрече (it's not a building, but event) Чем ты ешь эту лапшу? Я ем её палочками. When something serves as an instrument, we use it in Instrumental case without "с".
