It’s been 14 years since “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” became a sleeper box-office hit. Now Nia Vardalos, Lainie Kazan, Andrea Martin and Joey Fatone visit TODAY to talk about reuniting for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.” Vardalos, who also wrote the screenplay, says it’s her fault it took 14 years for a sequel to arrive, because she wanted to write it after becoming a mother.

I saw again today My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1, the 2002 film, I laughed a lot again, it warmed my heart :) I will see the MBFGW 2 as well, and MBFGW 3, which just came out

+Natalie Zayas-Bazan i thought that when i 1st seen the trailer. i thought "oh no, why?". It's hard trying to look past it. im not against people doing it, ur body ur doing but I think it looks Terrible in the long run and u cant undo it :( . Not worth the price period, my thoughts.

As is true for every "writer" who commercializes her culture/bloodline, Vardalos had only one story to tell. She told it once, and it was pretty good and made a lot of money. Good for her. But then stop, and go back to your everyday life. Everything that Vardalos has done since has bombed, and so she ends up telling the same story again and again and AGAIN. Each time less amusing, and less successful. I cannot wait for "My Big Fat Greek MRI".
