Anyone can be given the title of a mother but only a few are gems. I was blessed with a selfless mother like yours who put her children above all else including herself. My mom has been gone for 4 years and there's never a day that passes where i don't think of her. If she didn't love us so much, i wouldn't miss her this much.

This story has me balling, although my mom is still very much alive and just 10 mins away from me. Those who have great selfless mothers like you and I would understand. My mom is a selfless mother like yours. Right now, she has empty-ness syndrome and a few of us kids would take turn spending time and visiting her as much as we could. I understand that not all mothers are the same. I've came to meet many other elderly women/mothers or parents in general who have not been bothered, missed, or care about her children's whereabouts, too. Those of us who had caring parents or mothers are so fortunate in this lifetime. If you still have a selfless caring mother, love her when you still have the time.

Some mom/parents don't even love their children..I wish that my mom love me like your mom....my parents still alive but no love from them..I'm pretty sure every parents love their children differently,,,

I remember when my 1st daughter started her pre-k and I took her to school that day. She didn’t want to stay T school so she kinda sniffed and had tears on her little eyes. The teacher told me that she had a poem for all the parents. So I took one and liar to my daughter that I had to go work. I will see her later. I left her in her class and I saw her cried. I get that parents love their kids a lot. Especially moms. But you gotta let them spread their wings. Yes, help them if they need help financially or emotionally. But don't baby them. Let them go to the college they want to go to and not limit them to a college just because its "close by". If they want to move out cuz they have a wife and kids. Let them go! Both my oldest girls moved out before they got married. I even helped them move. My third daughter wants to move out too. I said sure. But don't come back cuz I'm making your room my office. Lmao
