Goverments would want to get him at all costs. That potion nowdays would be a absurdly dangerous tool for interrogations, espionage and/or destroy a persons life. Can you imagine someone slip the potion on someones drink just before a huge political conference or a presidential meeting? If Reiji were alive today... he wouldnt be for long either by "accidental dead" or "missing".

i doubt that this is a truth potion in a traditional sense i think it is more along the lines of translating your actions/words into what you really think about the situation sure, it would help, but it wouldn't be as easy as asking someone a question and their inner self telling you the answer

Black/Dark Mina calling out Reiji and Noella’s dynamic was the most satisfying things for me. Noella is just constantly causing trouble and Reiji just lets it happen without Noella dealing with the consequences. I’m glad that for as cutesy slice-of-life this show was, there was someone else in-universe who saw the same.

Yeah it’s the nice ones you have to look out for but it’s also the ones who have a lot on their plate. It seems to me that this ghost girl does a lot to take care of the drugstore so it’s not hard to imagine that her inner self can be somewhat mean and bossy in a way.

I think this topic is a lot more complex, true thoughts are subject to change based on emotion. I'd wager everyone here who isnt emotionless has atleast one story where one thing was experienced in multiple different kinds of emotions and with that the subjective context and therefore thought changed. Its like how eating good food, while it should make you happy, can make you even more unhappy if you are in a more depressive mindset. I certainly know what its like doing some various of things in various kinds of emotions, and i can say it can turn the process of eating icecream with the goal of improving mood, into something that made my mood get even worse.

Honestly, I don't think one has perfect (or even very much) control over their thoughts. If you're thinking horrid things, but only saying nice things, then you're either really conniving or really kind, and I didn't hear anything conniving in her 'inner thoughts' I'd say one who has darkness or evil in their heart, but chooses to put light and goodness into the world is pretty virtuous, and even admirable. At least I'd like to think so, given my thoughts and inner monologue can get REAL DARK from time to time.
