To anyone still watching this review a year later to appreciate just how good of a cinematographer Jobby is, if you're like me and want to get your hands on this figure but would rather not pay 4 times its original price from resellers theres now hope. Look up the CDL-01 RC while you still got the chance. Essentially the exact same figure but this time with an actual G1 alternate head complete with her glasses! I think you’re sending a good message with this video, allot of people are of the opinion that media shouldn’t over sexualize characters. But it’s gotten to the point where they get mad at any sexualization given to characters. To me at least, the first thing that jumps out to me about nicee’s body is that it’s very elegant. But the eyes and face imply that she’s somewhat youthful and eager. The feminine traits are only there to enhance the design, but allot of people think that they automatically detract. @UDon'tKnowMe It's more like, these characters\comics are all created\drawn by cis men (for the vast majority) so they are naturally unable to do a good job in objectifying those male characters the same sexy\sensual way they do the female ones, so the difference is really jarring and the audience notices it(and complains about it, which leads to more complains from people that don't even read them but see the discourse on Twitter). And I assure you that men whine about very noticeable male objectification\fanservice as well. That's why the good answer to the "fanservice problem" is not censor, but simply sexually objectify the male characters just as much as the female ones, so everybody is happy. Have you ever seen that Kylo Ren half-naked scene in The Last Jedi? That's an example of good male objectification\fanservice that worked very well on pretty much everybody. And btw many men cried about it💁🏻‍♀️
