I have the save learning process as he mentioned. I downloaded all forex pairs( major pair and cross pair) historic data from 2001 to 2018. (now i updated up until now).

Candlesticks ONLY offer real value when used with support and resistance. If someone is just jumping into trades because they see for example a certain candle stick and that’s all then they’re going to be a losing trader over time. Candlesticks tell a better story when used with support and resistance. The best support and resistance areas are areas which have been touched multiple of times and acts as both support and resistance. Five point fractals touching them is a great thing to look out for.

Well said. However, I tend to stay away from S/R that were touched too many times. Those trend to be broken inevitably...

The problem with not waiting for a candle to close is you don't know what you have. Candles can & do change drastically over their life. For example, a long body candle can very easily turn into a pin bar & vice versa.

That's right, Howard. However it ends up being a number game. You probably get a higher reward by not waiting for the close even though the win rate is likely to be lower. Food for thought of course :)

It seems to me that patience always pays off. While candle is in process I can evaluate context & potential risk/reward, & watch how the candle is actually moving. How the candle completes gives me essential information eg. is it hesitating & building a tail, or moving more decisively in 1 direction. Once the candle completes I can & must act swiftly if it is a signal that meets my requirements. I do not believe one should give too much weight to an incomplete candle, especially if there is lots of time left. Speaking from experience-I've lost too much money doing that that. I've also saved a lot of money (after learning this lesson) by staying away from very tempting, good looking incomplete candles that turned very bad.

Seems like a nice fellow but like like all oi f them here on YT they are full off theory and talk of "best trade setups." Immediately this tells me you have no setups, and don't know what you're looking for Turn on the screens hoping to catch a move. Ask me how i make money in the markets and I will drop 500 pages of the same damn trade with photos in detail in your lap of a volume trapped at the low of the week reversal trade setup so simple, scalable, repeatable, that you could build a career off of. The kicker is none of you believe it can be that easy.
