Had the privilege, many years ago, of working with Nick. Such an amazing drummer that still blows my mind to this day. There are few better drummers on the scene today better than he is.

Yeah me too.... Just found them in May. Havent stopped listening since. Killer talent. Very unique in my opinion.

@@hanifzahirul Yes, it's a snare bomb, but snare bombs are never on the backing track -- you usually just map the snare trigger, but actually BO's FOH said he does it manually

@@dukiwave Yes, if your band is as big as BO. You can hire someone to that manually. If you’re in a small band with small production budget, you can put it in the backtrack

I mean.. 25 is a pretty normal age for drummers in most bands. Zev Rose is probably a more notable talent for his age.. Dude was still in school when he started touring with Spiritbox.

Nick is a tight drummer. But let's be realistic here... he's quite the average drummer in the grand scope of drummers.

@@grayantihero6059 He barely ever shows off in Bad omens but hes impressive as hell, even just his speed he can hold around 240bpm tightly which is way above average

Two things about this video: - Majestic snare (thanks to Folio's technique and great work from Matt's mixing works as well); - While the focus is at drums, it's wonderful how crisp are Noah's vocals. Good video to make people who say that he relies on effects or playback to shut up, he's clearly belting like crazy, impossible to not hear.

Another awesome performance by Folio, he's so agressive and clean!! Totally love his drumming!! Also with this vids I get to hear Noah's vocals much better, what a plus!

The drum tuning / triggering is the absolute 100 percent , definition of how metal drums are supposed to be mixed. Gah I just wanna smack that snare a couple time and really crack into it, it has such an attitude it’s angry af 😈 . Just saw omens last night in Richmond and my gosh are they EASILY one of the best “metal shows” I’ve been to in my life. This genre is plagued with notoriously BAD vocals live more times then no. Noah legit isn’t human , it was also ,my first show I’ve home to sober for over 10 years, it’s really cool to remember the entire set and I could enjoy it, I’ve been to countless shows that I really wanted to see and every time I’d get too stoked as the night when on and just went ham 🤷♂️ I missed the fucking ready set, all my MySpace kids know what I’m talking about. It was a pleasure watching you and your band mates bless us with the first of many shows in the future. Bad Omens is officially a MUST SEE BAND AT ALL COSTS TIER, at one point the cloud was louder then noah that was freaking sick , this band freaking rules for real 💯

Gosh ain’t that the truth about metalcore vocalists. It’s crazy how overproduced so many metal bands vocals are. Noah is insane love, and Rory with Dayseeker is arguably even better and we got the pleasure of getting them both in one show. It truly was a treat

Oh man this is from when they opened for Underoath in Boston with Stray from the Path and Spiritbox. I went for Underoath and Spiritbox, but they blew me away. And they were incredible on their headling tour this year

It’s because English people are not over dramatic about their abilities, therefore, if we can play an instrument, we play it well, but don’t headband etc as itvs not for everyone. That’s the only difference I can see here, no head banging which Christ I’m too old for so I wouldn’t want to do it day in day out
