We should have seen that Nick & Maria were Skrulls when giving excuses to where the other heroes where: - Thor was off world but then you remember that New Asgard is on earth & they can contact him. - Dr. Strange being unavailable was stupid since if these Elementals have been mystic by nature which falls under his jurisdiction. - Fury not wanting Peter to invoke her name seems suspect as if they know Carol can identify that they're Skrulls.

The Mysterio twist was very obvious for anyone even remotely familiar with Spider-Man lore. But the Nick Fury in FFH being a Skrull was a very nice twist.

I think the main clue that it isn’t the real Nick Fury is when they talk about the different earth’s. He says Beck is from earth just not “your” earth. Your earth not our earth, so easy to miss that comment but it indicates that he isn’t or doesn’t consider himself from earth at all. I mean we all know why now but it would have been a great Easter egg if they didn’t reveal it till much later (like a couple of movies later

It also helps with Mysterio being part of the story, throughout the film I was constantly feeling like something was off about him but I couldn’t tell what it was and chalked it up to Mysterio hypnotising him or Fury being an illusion

There's a subtle foreshadowing that Nick fury was actually a Skrull. Its when he said, "He's from earth, just not yours". If he was actually Nick fury, he would've said ours since he's human, and not an alien.

Fun fact, the whole place where Nick Fury was sitting was CGI. Even his dart gun was also CGI. I sometimes don't understand why do they have to make normal things and normal places out of CGI only. Just pick a good spot which is real make the person sit there and give him a fake gun which looks real that will be enough.

Something funny to me: In Avengers: Endgame, it’s made clear that we already know how time travel works. You travel back in time, you create another timeline. Bruce and Nebula talk like this is something the smart people hammered out a long time ago - traveling in time creates new universes. And yet at 5:01, Peter is SHOCKED to learn about the existence of other universes, and the scientific implications of that. Why is that funny to me? Because of all the plot holes you can poke into the MCU, this has GOT to be the nerdiest.

He knew from the get-go that Fury was fake. Wow, Fury just strait up says stuff Fury wouldn't say. Peter even asks "really" to his gift.

Honestly despite the necessity I sympathize with Peter. He's just a kid and although he wants to help out in little ways he didn't sign up to save the world and risk things that he isn't prepared for. It's too bad things eventually went downhill for him.

Anyone else here wonder how exactly Beck identified OUR earth as Earth 616?? Did he also have a knowledge of the multiverse, and if so, how the heck? He was just an engineer and a trickster. Only Dr Strange: MoM revealed the universe numbers specifically.
